Description Finished the new daily exercise with half as many heads/faces/expressions as originally planned.  The idea was to do 20 in a about the same time as it takes to do a quick sketch session of figure poses.  lol.  It takes a lot longer.  I through away the time limit and did a 180 turn on construction.  Decided that construction is actually the thing to be practicing - construction with just enough observational detail to anchor it to reality, which is exactly my approach to the figure. I'm falling back on Loomis's ball and plane.  I'm also not going to restrict myself to line, since I have a natural inclination to draw with line and spot, sometimes opting to model with tone.  I know - it sounds like I'm all over the place, because I am.  Haha.  It's controlled chaos.  I've got a toehold.  From here it's just about patience.  It's already gotten better.  Looking for quantity over quality, e.g., time-in.  Drill the basics.
