The picks for Best Animated Feature are all pretty good (haven't seen Mirai yet, but Hosoda hasn't let me down so far). I'm rooting for Spider-Man personally.

I'm hoping for Spider-Man too... but it's very unlikely. Because the Oscars don't really care about animation, they may just easily give the Oscar to Disney. Disney and Pixar are in the same category now. Usually the Oscar goes to Disney. Occasionally to Pixar.
Ralph may just win it, as the first film didn't win it, losing to Brave.

Haha, it wouldn’t surprise me. Honestly, it’s because most of the Academy voters are old and usually don’t watch the animated films, and if they do, it’s because of their kids. They see the Disney name on something and just assume it’s good so the blindly vote for them.

Ralph is defintely on the bottom of the list in terms of who I'd want to win, but I thought it was an ok movie. Everything else is just better.
