Description
I wanted to experiment and see if it was possible to combine Anime Studio and ComiPo! And I believe it is! Just a little bit of compositing and editing in photoshop and some rigging up in Anime Studio and it can be done!Does this inspire you!?
I might make an animated web series depending on how my other experiments go!~

The process is a little more daunting than that. You need to save a PNG of a blank page with your character on it and make sure you delete all the white space in Manga Studio.

Great!
I see you are in the "animation team" for the anime project, cool! Your animation is perfect!

Thanks, it took a lot of thinking about how to make this work, and now that I know it can be done, I can try my hand at making more advanced things using point movers in Anime Studio. If all else fails I'll just have to bare down and draw in betweens myself, I already figured out how to draw the characters from ComiPo in 2D that still looks 3D.

I see. I would be a lot more eager to help if I wasn't already dealing with my own project and I have barely been able to make any progress on that. I have no idea how productive I might be trying to work on two different animations. I have gotten some of the opening sequence done for mine already but like I said, because I have been designing a game at the same time I haven't gotten more than some seconds into that. I really don't want to be that guy and take the writer position just because I had already gotten started on something, though of course I would help animate too if I did, I just don't want to be pretentious

Nano and Alex already said they'd do it, but I think two people alone might not be enough. You'd be working together as a team of three. c:

Just as long as we can get the kind of smoothness I made on this piece or better I'm okay with whoever animates. ^^ I want to prove ComiPo can be used to make high quality animations just as well as anything else. Although I had to combine it with Anime Studio and Photoshop, it can still be done. As long as we all share that spirit I'll do what I can.

I Was Also Wondering If Anime Studio Was Able To Be Used Successfully With ComiPO! Thank You For Making This, And Confirming My Suspicion!

its cool but we need more expression, poses of the body and face

Well I could have given his face different expressions for this walk cycle. That really isn't all that difficult, and I find that the poses we have already at least give us the bare minimum we need to make something work. Just keep your eyes peeled, I'm a master at making things work lol

Looks awesome, dood!
Hope it works well for ya!
I tend to have issues running more complicated programs. By complicated, I mean anything not ComiPo...

Thanks! It's not too complicated to use other things after a few tutorials. I'd NEVER used anime studio for an animation before until now.

Well, if you're willing to do a tutorial on it, I'm willing to listen and learn!
I'd love to add small animations to my comic to liven things up a bit!

I take it that you had to get creative with the back leg and arm, right?

It just takes a little patience, sometimes things mess up and it gets frustrating, but it's worth it in the end!

(and if you need ideas for your web series, I have like 89435798457 story ideas and I can't do all of them myself)
EDIT: about the web series ... are you gonna do that with subtitles or will you need voice actors? ... because I volunteer.

I sure hope they are. It will be a heck of a lot easier than doing what I did to make this happen. Though until I see something come from them I'll be continuing these experiments.~
