Property information:

Solace Stables in located in rural Quebec, Canada near the Laurentian mountains. The area surrounding the property consists of lots of forests and wildlife. The barn consists of 20 stalls, a tack room, wash rack, bathroom, indoor riding arena, and viewing area. The barn and indoor arena are heated in order to provide the horses and riders a comfortable area to live and exercise in during the cold, snowy winter months. The indoor arena is large enough to hold an average sized jump course.

Five pastures are connected directly to the barn. Stalls can be opened directly into the pastures for an easy turnout and to allow the horses to choose whether they would like to go outside or not.

Solace Stables has three outdoor arenas as well. The grass arena closest to the cross country course is multi-purpose and can be used however it is seen fit. The arena in the middle with dirt footing is the dressage arena, which has the low fence and letters on the ground. There is a judges' box near the entrance to the arena. The large dirt arena on the right is our show jumping arena, which always has a jump course set up (our staff changes the course every couple weeks to keep things new and exciting).

The largest component of the training facilities is the field to the left containing all of the cross country obstacles. It contains various types of complexes and fences commonly seen in competition. The course is connected to miles of riding trails that run through the forests and surrounding wilderness.

There is also a cabin-style home on the property on a hill that overlooks the barn and pastures. It is two stories and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Katie and Anna currently live there on their own. They keep the empty bedroom open to visitors, friends, and family members that need a place to stay.
