Will you take ibuprofen with Wayne Hylics?

As 2022 ended, I made a wish to let go of the issue that plagued me and my art - stagnation - and as I burned it away upon the dawn of the new year, I felt a spark ignite within me .... that this year, it was time to reach new heights with my art.

And Wayne is here beside me for the journey! Beside us, as the year unfolds and we change n' grow throughout. It's not my best Wayne Hylics (compared to the pristine vibe my 2021 Waynes had ), but I'm very much inspired and eager to try out different methods and techniques when it comes to rendering and creating art of my Paracosm and favorite characters. Basically this is an experimental piece as a way to solidify my 2023 new years resolution. Well, one of them anyhow. The other one I made was this Sky piece for my Sky following!

So come on, everyone! Let's take ibuprofen with Wayne together and reach new heights for 2023!! YEEEHOOOO!

SUPPLIES AND CREDITS.

SKETCHBOOK: ILLUSTRATION DIARY 2 AND COMMISSIONS DIARY (Ohuhu hardcover marker sketchbook, A4 size.)

MEDIUM/TOOLS: KURETAKE ZIG CLEAN COLOR dual-tip pen (0.5), SAKURA PIGMA Micron pen (0.1), Ohuhu Honolulu alcohol markers (brush nib) + Ohuhu Oahu alcohol markers (bullet nib), and COPIC alcohol markers (brush nib). Touch-ups were done using CLIP STUDIO PAINT PRO.
