at first I didn't like it... but it caught my eye enough to take a closer look. And for the "club" market, I like it. I think I always have a tough time with white text on gray, or black, backgrounds. Maybe if those content areas we reversed... but that's just me.

I really like the header image too, but it does seem a bit oversized.

Looks awesome. One thing I could suggest is adding some more white text under the words "Dance Club" to fill the space? ie. "www.danceclub.com" and a motto or something, all aligned so that the far right of the sentence come just under the 'B' of 'Club'.
