Description
This was my first ever speed painting. Why did I decide to do a speed painting? Well I saw a really cool cloud that looked almost exactly like this passing by the window. I wanted to capture it before it left and I didn't have my camera but I did have my drawing pad. The shot was gone in literally 3 minutes my painting took 5
I'm proud of myself.

I'm not sure what a speed painting is despite the fact I have heard about it

Speed painting is where you don't bother with outlines or anything, you literally just paint. You do it as fast as you can and try to get the range and depth of a photograph. It's really fun to do, I've discovered. I actually only did this one because I didn't have my camera with me to take an actual photograph of it.

Yeah, just any painting you do in a fast time. But some speed paints take 24 hours or more for some artist.

i just found out it is a digital painting. I was about to comment says, great minimalism photograph lol. I love the vlouds. It makes me think. there's white cottoncandy.
