Awh I know what you mean :'c When I went to my first convention, however, my friend who cosplays wasn't able to go so I was by myself. :C I am like really shy SUPER SHY but I tried talking to some people and some people were interested in my costume. So, I just asked if I could hang out with some people. c': That's how I would do it. Cause in the long run I guess it helps.
