Peridot's innocence is one of the things that draws me to her.Many things we take for granted are completely new, novel experiences for her. She's able to appreciate the wonder and beauty of the Earth in a way we seldom do. Watching as she learns about music, art, rain, carnivals, culture, and animals is compelling.
