Description
In this exercise i've choose a dark skin colour model, just to try something more complex. So I've started choosing this 41.media.tumblr.com/3cc77c563b… pic as illumination reference, then:

1. Quick sketch.

2. Using the reference picture, I used the color picker to place greys on a new layer. I used absolute white and black just because I was following the original pic grayscale. But I corrected it with color.

3. Added details until you can actually see a face, then delete the sketch lines layer.

4. I put some color here, in a early stage, just trying something new.

5. More color.

6. Some detailing.

7. More detailing.

8. Final details, like lashes and the other earring, put some emphasis on the eyes, and made some color adjustment and post production (sharpness, grain and color fringing)

It took me like 6-7 hours... I know is too long for an exercise X_X
Only Ps and one brush.
