Description
I've always been fascinated by the goddess Artemis because of what she is meant to represent; the wild hunt. This is a feature of mythology that exists within nearly every culture in human history because it is a primordial feature of our species and so the gods which are given the mantle of the hunt represent this ancient urge. I really like the design that she ended up having but due to a lack of time and loss of interest, I didn't end up finishing this painting so it remains in its sketch stage. Though, I may try again to redraw Artemis at a later date.Related content

That's quite cool to hear how other people imagine her in a similar way!
I think one reason why I did was because I like the character of Poison Ivy (even though she's not related to Artemis) and so subconsciously thought of her as red haired.
Or orange and green just look cool colour idk
