Description
Having already designed some Elves and Giants, it was a must to try and design some Dwarves/Dwarfs.Tolkien ( as with most fantasy design) plays a large part in the visual motifs of this design; from the idea of dwarves living underground to their proud metal working skills. I was also inspired buy the Dawi of Warhammer, which almost look like a level capped version of Tolkien and Norse version of Dwarves. My main influences from real world cultures were mainly Romans and Medieval Scandinavia, as they best suited my personal vision of these stout, stubborn people.
