Description
Another character for this series that I am doing with my friend, James(or CrazyDonkey), this character is the epitome of femininity and gracefulness as she represents the crane, an animal of nobility and beauty. I already knew that she would mainly be drawn using elegant shapes and softer features. Her colour scheme was mainly saturated and uses a limited colour palate to reflect the original colour scheme of crane, which gave her a look minimal aestehtic. I was mainly inspired by East Asian ribbon dancers for her basic design but was heavily inspired by ballerinas in terms of how I wanted to convey her movement and 'rhythm'.
