Sea Princess Azuri volume 2 is midway through the toning stages, should be done by the end of this month.These are two new characters for volume 2. They're maids in the royal palace so they don't have just the biggest roles or anything, but I luffs them and I'm really happy with their designs. Gibbi is the catfish.. girl.. catgirl...fish... girl.. XD That one. And Cinnabelle is a squidgirl.
I enjoy taking a bit of artistic license with each new mermaid design, I try not to just stamp them all out cookie cutter style with different fish patterns, but to integrate the human and the sea creature as much as possible.
Pardon my moire, shrinking tones isn't always happy. This page will be the illustration opener for chapter 6. It's gonna be a bit cropped in the book 'cause what you see here is the full bleed size.

Okay. You know how sometimes the drawings on a comic page go right up to the cut paper edge? That's what full bleed means. Since the printing machines are never always perfectly accurate, the bleed area ensures that even if it cuts the page off-center, that the drawing still continues off the paper edge. Make sense?

Yes it ought to be in all major bookstores. Sometimes a particular store doesn't have it in stock, but if you ask they can order it for you easily.
