Imagine the trail and her alike:
A Winding road rarely taken.
Take every chance to pass her by,
Like the unbeaten path forsaken.

It finds itself in my head,
Like tangents to my thoughts.
For she moves rightly so:
The form in which I sought.

The bends and smile inviting so
And, just once, I ventured near.
Her brook and words rumbled sweet;
The best music to the ear.

I wished that she would never end,
That the chance would still be clear.
I walk and wait and wait and walk:
Like dead ends were never here.
