I was thinking about my painter frog character Blue last night while trying to go to sleep when I had this sudden realization that she's a Van Gogh Frog. whatever that means
I threw out all my old brushes and acrylic paints like Marie Kondo told me to so I can't paint anything atm (and I've never tried oil paints) so I decided to try imitate the impressionistic style digitally.... all I can say is that I still suck at digital painting! but I think the end result is kind of cool anyway

can anybody actually tell though what's going on in this? lmk your thoughts!

also have you guys seen Loving Vincent? it's so breathtakingly beautiful..... I don't know anything else that has sparked my love for art and painting more than it has. go watch it if you haven't!!!!!!!!
