Description
Hi everyone! Here's a photo manipulation I did last night. The sky photo was taken yesterday at the afternoon from my window, and the photo of the field late in the evening just as the sun was about to set (just outside Porvoo in Finland). I would not have been "forced" to combine two shots if there had been clouds in the sky when I took the misty field photo. The sky just looked so bland without any clouds, and this field was so special it just couldn't be left unused.Print available.
Sky photo info: Canon EOS 20D | Sigma 12-24mm EX HSM | Cokin X120 + X121 Graduated Grey | ISO100 | f/22 | 1/15secs
Field photo info: Canon EOS 20D | Sigma 12-24mm EX HSM | Cokin X120 + X121 Graduated Grey | ISO100 | f/22 | 0.3secs
Hope you like it. Comments and critiques are welcomed.
Paavo

Wow. You truly have a talent for making nature look even more beautiful than ever. Most people don't notice how amazing nature can look...even a rock can be captured as beautiful behind a camera lense.

Oh, I love the mist, and I think the clouds were done spectacularly. And the generic rock formation just becomes something very special when surrounded by mist...

Thank you. I wasn't sure if the clouds would fit to this photo of the misty field, but I'm quite satisfied with it.

Apart from a slight dark patch on the top of the rock this looks totaly real.
