This Visual Style is for Windows 7.
Tested and itβs working on both 32 and 64-bit W7.
Included system files are for Service Pack 1.
Supports top, bottom, left and taskbar
Has a Basic version.
Installation - check the included readme file.

Yes it is updated. I have replaced white gradients as they seem out of place. Also changed hovers on caption buttons (see the preview image) and changed selections.

Can you change the front/back symbols so that it isn't rainbow? Looks great otherwise!

Try with the default explorerframe. I originally planed to release the vs with no explorerframe at all.
On the other hand I have added blue hovers to glass buttons (I have updated today, check the preview image to see the changes), I may add square buttons of a kind in the future.

Interesting name lol, fits the look pretty well, you did a nice job on this, still not a fan of the Metro look, although I would have to say this looks allot better then Metro

Yeah unfortunately cant put dash in file name, I really wanted it to be 7 1/2. Named it Sette e mezzo to also reference Fellini's movie 8 1/2 for fun, but it felt weird
I am kinda starting to like Metro, but it does seem too simple and cold. W8 home page looks like disease prevention poster, along with freaky stock photos. But still it could work out great, with effects and transitions.

i didnt like 2 things though, the search and refresh buttons on the explorerframe and min./max buttons look like default win7

Unfortunately that will produce corner bug in Win 7. You know the shape of Aero windows with big rounded corners? Aero blur and colorization is rendered only on surface defined by the borders of default window, so if you change the shape of it it will produce bugs. Only way to have sharp corners and colorization/blur working is to hide those corner pixels, that extend over the limits, with a strong outline.
