Description Some days ago I download StarCraf2 gameplay videoclip by Blizzard. New units, technology and tactics in that game inspire me to create an elit unit for Zerg race!

Anybody know, what Hydralisk can attack infantry and aircraft as well. But cant do that in same time. That creature - can attack ground unit and make trouble for aircraft by two Spore Colony on his back!

Why not? It's really fun More cool and playable characters and units in SC2! Oh, I already waiting for second part of trilogy. Especially in collectors form with art-book an all other stuff!

Umm, the main idea was - mixing spore colony and hydralisk by some genetic or mutating ability.
That why I call it Spore Hydralisk, unit which can bury himself and show only doubled spore colony on-ground.

But... maybe I faild and that idea wasn`t clear as I think

Ah. Anyway I`m just killing the time in waiting of StarCraft 2 by drawing such "awkwarding cratures" based on original unit of CS. ))

Haven`t see them too.
But looks like they will be copied from earlied and more detalized sketches by Blizzard.
In SC they was really bad, framet by sprite technology.

eh... i wish the hydra could use those blades on its arms..., then, they would be more useful, and more...multi purpose.

Yep. New Zerglings trully make feeling of locust army
Big, hungry and really fury.
But it will be cool - if Hydra have two modification - 1-st with acid-spit and second with close combat by claws.
In previous version of SC - Hydra uses claws for movement clamber with them on ground or walls (one of video from BroodWars).

but, defiler cant directly destroy air units, and im pretty shure infested only affaects ground units.

Strange... when I play SC - Infected by explosion under air unit - destroy it as well.
Maybe it was just a "bug", version was unupdated.
About Defiler you right...

Noup.
Defiler also can attack air units And infected Terrans too.
But first need "mana" - second can attack only once... with explode.
Hmmm I need to draw Infected Terran!!

I detaled readed forum - the news was definitly fake. Zerg`s face - Hydralisk, like Marines - Terrans, Zealots - Protoss. They dont cut Hydralisk. Also - Lurkers could stay as is - or new sonar-radar tower from Terrans, well be just useless fake. Maybe Blizzard really redisign them and make cost higher. Or slover produce.
After all action figures, posters and so on - change or replace Hydralisk, really bad strategy!

Just readed the forum posts in starcraft2.com
They realy think to cut off Hydralisk.
Really, with massproduction of zerglings and mass control of them (not only 12 as in SC I) - could change the tactics... And Hydralisk well be usless...
Anyway - Hydralisk stays my loved unit and if he cutted out - I just install SC I \ BroodWar and look at hem once again

I dont think so... In motionpicture of StarCraft2 Openings - troopers hawe seriously battle with Hydralisk. And in playdemo of Protoss - was few Hydralisk and thousands of Zerglings.
Hydralisk - is main character and nearly Logo of SC. And few artworks with him was published on official site.
They must be!
But... huh... I dont read Blizzard forusm last month... and dont know real situation

you see, air unit are as powerfull as weak, they are soooooooo expensive and you lose them in a zap XDDDDDDDDDD some spore hydralisks would be too much trobleeeeee! XD

Not too much, if the Aircrafts would be supported by Thor or some ground heavy units.
Also - Spore Hydralist will be slower the simple hydralisk and great for quick airdefend small temporary resource colony.
Anyway - we never see them in a real game...

Because Reapers - has two handguns... Zealots - only close combat blades.
In close combat jetpacks only troublesome devices.
But jatpacked dragoons... that could be cool ))

Eeeh... Immortals.
But anyway - Thor is cool machine for destroing buildings from the ground.
And has cool motion animation.
But Immortals... Thor needs Reapers corp as air
Great strategy move - attract Immortals on Thor and kill them by Reapers

But... I think in final - Protoss can have as many Motherships as they will or have resources to build it.
But time for refreshing "energy or mana" for planetcrack or something like that - must be increased.
Most interesting unit for me - Terannian Thor.
Cool! It used similar "boisterous fire" like - Combot from PSone game, called Chrono Cross!
It will be my favor for cleaning protoss bases from turrels or heavy tech.

Protoss has very poverfull technology becouse they are favorite race of Blizzard, I think
Anyway, I wish Defiler still be in game. With him base of Protoss not so powerfull. They can`t repair building and only sheild protect them after Defilers attack.
Guardians rule!!! My best strategy - place them after Sunken Colony and field full of Lurkers. Zealots and dragoons dying fast without chance to survive...

A little update, the black hole is not gonna be in the final version. You can built more then one Protoss Mothership, it still have the awesomeness of the Planet Cracker and Time Bomb...

Personally, i still prefer the original one ship army concept.

Man looks powerful I wish it can be mass produced cuz for me when you say elite it means it's too powerful and expensive and can be made 1-5 times only.

If Spore Hydrisk mass produced in future - Zergs base defence will be totally unbreakable.
But 10-12 (max) SH units can defend medium assault group of Ultralisk from air and infantry attack...

Flying zergling? Good idea!! Few day ago I started concept of "Biter Producer" - heavy Zerg air unit with loaded (and growned inside as well) 12 Acid Biter. Smaller then Scourge, but with ability stop and corrode enemy heavy air units. That unit will be also Elite and in game gamer can use only 2 or 3 of that units...

Ehh... I really want to create characters for games... in near future

Uhmmm.. characters well i could suggest Tristy,Queen of Fear for SC2 she's a successor/daughter of Kerrigan (depends on you) I saw this in Starcraft.org but I forgot the name of who wrote it.
