Personality:

Roy is a very calm and determined character. He does not like to let people down, and is always ready to plan a battle strategy at a moment’s notice. Although not a very talkative man, he will talk to teammates and others if he has to, or if there is some benefit from the conversation. He knows how to take a joke and will make a joke with others if he is comfortable enough around them or knows them well enough as friends. He will never leave someone behind in battle and will loyally fight by anyone’s side that will accept his assistance. Although being proud of his strategy making, he is as well open to suggestions and ideas from team mates and others too.

Extra: Roy is like Radon, it is able to be on its own, and in no need of a helpful link to make it feel stable.

Radon, being a noble gas, means that Roy does not play well with others, which means he's a work in progress for talking with others.

Fear(s): Being unable to help, Letting down his parents and their expectations of him, Beowulfs.

Likes: Waffles, Fried Chicken, Good writing supplies, the scenery of Forever Fall

Dislikes: Noisy people, Brussels sprouts , Asparagus, People who don’t pay attention, being overwhelmed.

Fatal Flaw(s): Prideful; Roy is overly prideful due to his abilities and strengths. He prefers to work on his own and feels he does better this way.

Habit(s): Roy enjoys reading and creating battle plans, he also has the habit of smirking even when things aren’t funny or deserving of a smirk. He tends to keep some important plotlines in his strategies to himself in order to add some “shock and awe” to the grand outcome of the battles he participates in.

Weaknesses: Not much of a talker, Shy at times, Overconfident in battle skills

Weapon Name: Animus Volatilis (Winged Bravery; Animus=Bravery (Latin); Volatilis=Winged (Latin).)

Weapon Description: Roy's weapon is two short swords with their blades at equal length to the hilts. The hand guards on the hilts are made up of a revolving mechanism. The blades protrude from the hilts when in use, and hide within the hilts when in travel mode. The blades also have the ability to use four (4) dust types due to the small chamber on the hilt that resembles a small hand guard. The dust types Roy uses are Red (Fire / Blocking), Purple (Weapon Strength+ / Motion Cancel), Yellow (Electricity / Agility) and Cyan (Ice / Trapping). The pommels of the hilts allow the two blades to come together in a sort of “sword staff” idea.

Relationship With Others

Reputation:

People view Roy as a very quiet and “lost in thought” kind of character. Once they get to know him, they will see him as very smart with his strategy making, however.

    -          Roy can sense the vibrations within the earth. When he focuses on reading it, the vibrations can tell him what the cause of the vibration is, whether it is human, or a creature of grimm or something else like an earthquake or explosion. He uses this ability to help plan his strategic attacks for both himself and his team.

Brief History: Roy grew up in a basic family. They were not rich and they were not poor. His parents ran their own Dust Shop and since Roy grew up around the magical particles, he grew ever fascinated with them , wanting to learn as much as he could about them and hopefully someday be very knowledgeable in how dust worked and what it could be best used for. When he was sent to attend Signal Academy by his parents, Roy mostly stayed to himself and kept to his books and to his studies. He wasn’t much of a talker unless asked upon for an answer in class or some other small issue. He had his small group of friends and was labeled the “book worm” of the group quickly. It was also at Signal Academy that Roy created his weapon he’d use in his endeavors to fight the creatures of Grimm, Animus Volatilis meaning, Winged Bravery.

After his years at Signal Academy, Roy then ventured forward in his Hunter career and was accepted into Beacon Academy to be properly trained in how to battle and defeat creatures of Grimm. His lifestyle and personality has not changed much since coming to Beacon and he still keeps to himself mostly which will more than likely prove to make communication and friendship building a little more difficult than usual.

Trivia:

- Like the rest of Team SLVR he is related to an Element of the periodic table. His Element is Radon.

- His weapons use dust, so the idea of Radon (an element that glows due to its radioactivity) works well with the knowledge that his blades will glow depending on the dust being used at the current time.
