The little story, written by

After the mournful night that i tried to end it all I came to waking up wrapped up in bandages in this town. How i got here I do not know. that night the last thing I remember a large boulder coming my way. now I can barely move with so many broken bones and gashes. I didn't want to wake. I wanted to sleep and join mother where she moved on but this town this very place i know I terrorized saved me.

The leader of the town took pity on my near dead body. or so this little girl tells me who keeps me company every day. She told me how i fell from the sky in a great storm that was strong enough to rip trees out of the ground. she said i crashed in the middle of the market street and when i landed the storm ceased. and the people came out. they thought i was dead she told me. the oldest town council came then instructed for the people to save my life against most of everyone's wishes. he said we are not to take a life of something so helpless.

The child told me I was out over a week being nursed back to health, Why would they save me. I wanted to die and jion mother, now all i got left to remember mother by is her scarf that i some how manage to keep a hold of even as i was flung across the sky.

The days were long here. being so helpless is not something im used to. having to be fed and cleaned. and often a passer by would hurl rocks at me. but i never felt it. my body was so wracked in pain nothing more made it worse, Especially the pain i felt in my heart.

This child stuck with me all the time she was the primary one taking care of me. others came but most of it was her. and she did it without fear. she even smiled. just like mother would maybe that's why i haven't tried to scare her off. something of her reminds me of mother. the fact mother never feared me. she would smile and make me feel welcome and wanted, not some ugly beast that people want to lock up

she liked to talk alot also ask me questions. so many questions but I never really spoke to anyone other than mother. and it hurt to even breath so i just listened alot.
she ask me my name or where i came from what it was like to fly. why the grownups hated me so much. she tell me how her family was poor and worked hard for a meager pay. but yet she shared with me her food that barely fed her.

After a few weeks of this street being home I was awoken in my slumber by a mob of poeple. it seems the elder was no longer to keep them at bay any more and i could tell they have come to take my life. I snarled back as they approach but still broken bones and so little energy there was not much I could do or care. the mob ripped my bandages of and with there swords started to slash at me others had sledge hammers one hit my head and i howled out in pain just as my friend came rushing around the corner I shouted for her to stay back but she didnt listen she stood at my forleg between me and the crowd. and a stare down took place she gave a firm look and i panted dizzy bleeding everywhere vision blurred red.

the crowd shouted at her to her to move, "do you not know who this beast is" one shouted. another said "This is Storm The witches stead he has killed hundreds" another interrupted " We should not be saving this monsters life, The time of Dragons have Ended"

But the girl cried back "Blue is not a monster, you are the monster to come in the night to slay a wounded Creature of God"

But one anger said back "if you want to die with your pet dragon, peasant then so be it" and I watched the crowd approach I snarled back, rocks were hurled again most hit me but one hit the child and she screamed in pain, blood ran down her forhead. This I could not stand by and happen. attack me is fine but this girl did nothing...... Life came back to me

"cover your ears friend" she did so quickly as she stood close to me

I let loose a Roar that made the walls tremble and the people cower and fall to the ground

"Kill me if you want humans but this child has nothing to do with your hatred of me." I Snarled out with a deathly tone that was used so many times before whe i wasabout to kill others in the past "I promise you this humans with every last bit of strength i have I will not let you harm this child"

"Enough!!" the tense deadly stand off was broken as the city council came with the guards." everyone go back to home" the crowd angrily reluctantly disperse seeing the counselor brought the guards with him

"Dragon I see you have the strength to finally stand you will be coming and finishing your recovering in the privacy of my garden, and you small one" says looking at the peasant child" you know your parents don't want you out a night. never the less come back at my place lets get that cut on your head cleaned up then you can me get the dragon cleaned and his wounds wrapped up again. seems the people cut him up bad, hurry now don't worry me and the guards will make sure he has safe passage"

The child ran off in a hurry into the dark, and I slowly limped following the old man.

"dragon" the man said " i honestly thought you would of died there giving up on life, what made you stand up and fight"

I stopped and thought for a bit. " I don't care about living old man, but they hurt my friend and i it angered me.” I paused ”I wanted to protect her even if it i had to shield her with my broken body from the humans"

the elder smile looking back at me, not sure why he is smiling im a bloody mess " you my boy have a good heart indeed, come now lets pick up the step the mighty storm doesn't let a few cuts slow him down. your friend is waiting back at my place" HE stepped up his pace with almost a cheery hop almost happy, I stopped and pondered with a cocked head wondering if he was indeed a senile old man.
