Magical simplicity, if only for a moment.Vine and compressed charcoal and charcoal pencils. I was really excited but also intimidated to start working on this. It's 18" x 24", which is very large for me; I haven't worked on paper this large in four years. Mostly I was just scared about mapping my reference onto a paper of this size, but it was easier than I thought. The next one will be even larger.

Thank you! I love the texture too, the paper I used is Strathmore 300 Charcoal (64 lb laid).
