So, they are martial artists with animal motifs.
There will be six Rangers, in the following colours…
Red "Female"
Yellow "Male"
Blue "Male"
Green "Male"
Black "Female"
White "Male"
They have animal motifs…
Red - Gorilla
Yellow - Falcon
Blue - Shark
Green - Rhino
Black - Wolf
White - Liger
I want them to have animal faces printed on their chests, just like the Zyuohgers. And I want their suits to have karate belts, just like the Rhino Ranger from Jungle Fury. Helmets should be in the style of Wild Force, with saber teeth incorporated in the mouth plates.

Technically, you're on the right track, there.
You see, these Rangers can switch between different animal powers. And when they do that, the animal symbol on their chest, as well as their helmets, change to reflect the animal power they're using.
