Linen and coton duffle
Warning : Before people start yelling, I warn you this gambeson isn't historical. I sewed it for long sword training. I made it confortable for me but I know it's not historically accurate.

avertissement : Avant que les gens ne se mettent à hurler, je préfère vous prévenir que ce gambison n'est pas tout à fait historique. Je j'ai cousu pour mes entraînement d'épée longue. Je l'ai fait de manière à ce qu'il soit confortable pour moi, mais je sais qu'il n'est pas historiquement correct.
I didn't do it entirely on my own, I had some help, so check out my tailor assistant.
Je n'ai pas fait ce gambison entièrement moi-même, j'ai eu un peu d'aide. Alors jetez un coup d'oeil à mon assistant

tres belle gambeson, rajoute une ou 2 couches de cotton a l'interieure et elle est historiquement correct. les purist peuve aller ce battre le carrer ailleure XD

Looks beautiful! I personally don't practice in any sword fighting (we live hours away from anywhere, let alone a HEMA institute). I shame I can't tell the difference from a historical gambeson from a makeshift. If you don't mind my asking, what would a more historical one look like?

I'm not a specialist of historical gambeson. If you wan't an historical one, I suggest you have a look at the maciejowski bible, there are a lot of illustrations that may be of some help

Well, if you find a nice club to practice swordfighting, you won't be dispapointed. I don't know where you're from, but maybe you can find Historical European Martial Art (HEMA) club to practice.

Some may not think it's historical "enough" but it sure is more historical than what some people try to pass off as historical padding soft kit. I think it looks great and you hand sewed the quilting!

Il est très bien ce gambison, du travail de pro
Je pense que les fondamentalistes de l'historicité peuvent aller râler chez ailleurs, ne serait ce que pour le fait que tu ne l'as pas accroché à une époque particulière mais à une utilité, celle de te protéger sans gêner tes mouvements
Sinon il ne te reste plus qu'à les présenter à Dracula.
