Here is Twisted Freddy, which is basically the book's version of the Nightmares.

They are actually normal animatronics (described as being barely recognizable) but have audio they play which changes a person's perception of them. The audio device was for kids to see the animatronics as their cartoon counterparts. However, since the gang fear the robots, they appear like monsters such as this.

This took about a day to make, and kind of gave up a little bit so I just left the calves and foot unchanged.
