Not really the artist fault , they are depicted like that many times in official art even if they are suppose to be catclaws.

The thing is that you were also right , but it wasnt fault of this artist in particular . Capcom artists never had clear what Felicia's real design were : they changed her eye colors constantly between green and blue(in the same game) , they draw the claws sometimes like nails and others like claws , the feet sometimes are like human sometimes are like catpaws . Darkstalkers always was a clusterfuck.

Well DarkStalkers is quite old so it doesn't really matter I don't think getting a reboot anytime soon.

As Capcom is right now I hope so . If Capcom is going to reboot Darkstalkers I hope they do after they return to do things right again.
