Oh, My stinkin' word, NO!!! NO...DARK...SONIC!!! I vote Shadow. BTW, I agree with what Bombchu-Link said, Sonic would probably not be Dark Sonic unless, maybe, ALLLL HIS FRIENDS GOT KILLED!!! Like the picture and the mood setting.

As much as I like Dark Sonic, (and I like him just as much as the next guy, he really looks bad ass) Isn't kind of, well, sad to see a Dark Sonic?
Sonic is made to be the embodiment of heroism and quite literally a savior for all of His world and even Eggman said he would never want to see character traits such as hate and sadness inside of him, and he would try to forget what he saw when he saw Dark Sonic.
Shadow is even putting on a better show than sonic in this case, he is using the heroic side of the emeralds even though he has much more reason to use the Dark half of them.
I cannot fathom how such a case would ever come about, Amy, Tails and Knuckles are perfectly alive and well, so It's hard to justify why Sonic is acting the way he is, as if almost he is just acting evil out of cruel fun.
As for Amy, she looks very horrified at the scene, I can literally hear Dark Sonic taunting Shadow and Amy about to burst into tears seeing exactly what she loves about Sonic being turned upside down and into a horrifying nightmare for her.
I can't really tell why Silver would have his thumb up, or why Knuckles is smiling, especially considering that his two best friends are fighting in nothing less then a death battle. Shadow could and potentially would kill Sonic, if Sonic was Super Sonic, he would of course spare Shadow, but seeing he has manifested his power in hate and darkness, would cloud sonic judgment and would definitively push him over the edge. (in fact to even obtain a dark form, one would have to already be pushed over the edge mentally, so it makes the scene so much more tense.
