The next morning...AJ got out of the shower and went into the kitchen, where Spike was having his first cup of coffee. She looked at him and purred a bit. His gaze met hers, and he winked, raising his mug.
Suddenly, a quick but strong pain erupted in AJ’s midsection. She held it as it glowed, then distended a bit.
She looked at Spike, who dropped his mug.
It looked like Applejack would end up carrying a baby after all.
