AJ was cleaning the egg when she heard Spike's voice come from outside: “Applejack, something happened.”“Spike? What happened?”
She got up to go to the window, but Spike said, “Don't look just yet! I need to prep you first.”
“Spike, you're freaking me out. What's going on?”
“I may have grown a bit…”
“That's great news, Spike! Come on, let me see.”
A moment of silence.
Then Spike stuck his head through the window, his top scales breaking through the frame. He blushed and propped himself on the windowsill, his weight snapping it in two and compressing the wall below it.
AJ’s face turned red, her pupils dilated, and she suddenly felt hot.
“Sorry about the window, AJ.” Spike apologized. “Does it look alright?”
“Oh, you look just fine,” AJ cooed. She then grabbed him by the cheeks and kissed him.
Spike was shocked at first, then got into it. She pulled him towards her, accidentally making him break through more of the wall.
“Oh no!” Spike exclaimed.
“We can fix it later,” AJ exclaimed, pulling him into the bedroom.
