Aw man, that's too bad!! My hair texture isn't all that silky, actually, I have to straighten it otherwise I get a wavey, frizzy mess... The sidecut is short enough though that I don't think I'll have any frizz issue-- not to mention the hair that was cut off was the last of the chemically fried junk from when my hair was regularly bleached... I've been bleaching my hair for so long, I can't say what the original underlying texture is... I guess we'll find out as it grows. One nice thing about my hair (which is still actually blonde, just a dirty blonde) is that it takes to color really well-- so in the future I still won't have to bleach it just to get my ruby reds. So maybe with any luck, I'll have to straighten my hair less as the old bleached hair all eventually grows out and gets progressively trimmed off.
Only time will tell, I guess!

Eheh... yeah.. honestly this was just an ID deviation slot where I kept updating the image itself over time. I guess it's silly, but I just didn't like always cluttering the foreground of my gallery on the profile page with two images of an ID so soon after it's upload (and this was before dA's nice little folder categorizing system) ...Old habits are hard to break.

BUT I DIGRESS oh man, I hope I didn't carry on too much. I understand people like BH and even my best friend does, and I understand and appreciate their enjoyment, but end of the day, there was just too many glaring things for me to be able to enjoy it.

I understand, and I know how you feel with the art style. It WAS rather different from the original. However, I do prefer BH just because the ending felt much more complete and less vague. The original series left off at a cliffhanger that never was resolved and we never really understood anything about Sloth, or Hohenheim's intentions, or who that woman he knew really was, none of that was ever clear. And the Homunculi had MUCH more depth of character in BH imo. Envy had a lot more development, and that damn show actually made me pity him. (EVEN THOUGH I HATE HIM FOR HUGHES, OMG HUGHES!) But yes, I respect and acknowledge why you prefer the original story. Still both wonderful animes and the universe is just so AGH so good. xD And please, if ever we have a discussion like this again, feel free to carry on as much as you like! CONVERSATIONS, YO. <3
And I DEFINITELY agree that we didn't need 10 episodes of re-cap, basically. I DID NOT NEED TO SEE NINA'S DEMISE TWICE, TYVM, ANIPLEX. Japanese AU's do tend to do that, same with the Evengelion AU they did a few years ago. Its like, just remastered and re-dialogued episodes that we already saw. Eh. Maybe its because there is such a huge time gap between? No idea. ANYWAYS. SORRY TO DRAG ON. YOU GOT ME EXCITED. xD

Ehehe, thanks. My face is pretty much my only redeeming quality, in the right light. Outside that, well, heck you know from Shamine's efforts that I can't stand my body for a damn. I hope someday I don't feel this way... or better yet, I have a body I can really be proud of and flaunt like I'd always wanted all these years.
I can tell ya this, my fashion sense would be a hellova lot different-- Amid my many problems, I have the exacerbator of poverty to contend with-- in addition to being fat, a body size not often taken into consideration within the most easy-access, cheap-clothing stores-- Not that I could afford it even if they were available, so the clothes in my repertoire are slim.
Virtually NOTHING is what I would want to wear for myself, but I cobble something together to try and look half decent.. because vanity, I guess. Vanity and social pressure... but oh the plans I have and the cuts of fabric I could wear when I have the right silhouette. I love to play with those angles and exploit them. With fat rolls, it's much harder and requires custom clothing, which I have no ability to craft nor the money to invest in endless bolts of fabrics just for one bloody outfit, let alone an entire wardrobe. And I'd also need an extensive knowledge of proper boning structure not unlike what's found in old fashioned whale-bone corsets and just yadda yadda-- it just takes so much work, and it's so uncomfortable just to get the proper flattering curve. I'd rather just get the damn body and the perks that come with being fit instead of spending all my nights crying in poverty, hoping some poor sod will drop off decent-looking, proper-cut PLUS SIZE clothing at a fucking thrift store. Which so rarely happens. Bah!!
