This was today's project - a Wire tree!
I made it to enter a contest in a Forum, but also to put my pendants on display.
It was quite hard to make, but really worth it! I love how it turned out
It was about 40cm, from the bottom rock to the higher branch and it was made with 1mm alluminium wire, acrylic beads and a rock from Azores!
I will post some more photos of it so you can see the details.

Hours of patience, hands hurting and dirty...
I can't really describe how to do this, I made it by hand wrapping the wire to the shape I wanted and then glued it into the rock.

Waaaaaoow.
I love this sculpture, especially the wire curling over the rock like roots. Oh, and the little green beads that you have to really look to find. So cute.
Hm... if you decide to make more of these, perhaps you could add some danglies? From far away it's hard to see the beads, so the branches look kind of barren.

First of all, this is absolutely amazing. That could be enough said but I'm going to continue anyway.
What a brilliant, brilliant idea! Everything is so carefully and skillfully done, the design is wonderful (including the shape as well as the little green beads on the branches) and I love how you plan on using it as a jewellery stand. It is such a gorgeous and clever artwork. I love it.
