Meet Banjo the dog and Kazooie the duck. Named after (and quite possibly reincarnations of) once-revered Nintendo icons, Banjooie, as they're collectively known, much prefer living the easy life rather than fighting until you drop.

Whenever a match starts, Banjooie more often than not are spectators than actual fighters. Kazooie, the female, is the more energetic one, and likes to playfully snark at other people's expense. Banjo, the male, is slower and more lethargic, though he does have his moments of brilliance, both on the battlefield and otherwise.
