they can be, although being a Harry Potter fan I can only take so many Harry Potter cross overs. HP crossed over with Lord of the Rings is WAY over done, and then people tend to cross over HP with their favorite vampire series and its just annoying.
Disney cross overs are ok because they are not as annoying or far-fetched.
