Backstory:
There is mana that surrounds the world, it's what gives some mobians powers if they are sensitive enough to it. It is possible for some mobians with low frequency to mana be able to train and use said mana to have powers, but those are rare in some cases. Sonar fell in that category when she was little. Most mobians blamed it on her being a mixed breed, despite studies showing it doesn't just run on mixed breed species, but that didn't stop mobians from picking on her and making her seem useless and worthless. Sonar, however, wanted to prove to everyone she will surpass her old man and become the best doctor in the world. After her village was attacked by one of Eggman’s passing fleets, her parents took the fight but were later captured leaving Sonar all on her own. It was during this time she ran into Sonic on one of his ventures in West Side Island, and saved her from one of Eggman’s traps. After a rough introduction, they stayed together and they got to know each other as time passed. It was during this time together that Sonar began to develop her mana abilities. Shocked by this revelation, Sonar began to train her abilities with Sonic’s help. His constant injuries while they traveled and fought robots gave her good practice with her healing ability. The robots gave her also an opportunity to test out her Sonar waves, both in echoes and her scream. After 5 years of being together and traveling, the pair had a bumpy fallout leaving Sonar to go her separate ways with Sonic. Sonar stayed in a village for awhile, studying her medical books she salvaged from her wrecked home. She became a local there and even set up an herbal shop where she could make some money off her herbs, and even treated a few locals from ailments with her powers. It was all a down-low sort of deal given she had no money to go to school properly and earn her degree. A small price to pay inorder to feed and shelter herself from the world for awhile. At the age of 12, she had earned a name for herself in this village and that attracted a local to direct an injured wolf to her small shop. This wolf was Alfalo, of Alfalo Fashion Inc. One look at the small HedgeBat and he was hooked in making her his female model for his business. He used his sweet talk of giving her anything she needed to succeed in her Doctorate Degree, and giving her a real home, how could she not refuse? After packing up her things, she moved into Casino Night Zone. True to his word, Alfalo gave her a home and a lot of money to study classes on medicine. She was living her life, and of course she kept her end of the bargain and modeled the clothing Alfalo created. On her first ever debute on the catwalk, she met with a young wolf around her age, Henry, Alfalo's son and heir to Alfalo Fashion Inc. The two hit it off real well and fell in love. After a few years of doing things, her passion for her Doctorate decreased, and more time was spent in her changing everything of who she used to be to fit in with the new crowd she has. That included trying to fit into tiny dresses, strict rules of diets, constant photo shoots, and following the beauty standards of the time. She tried her best to disguise herself that she isn't a half-breed, but mobians still found out and rumors began to spread. Mobians began to talk about how is Henry going to have an heir with a half-breed, that aren't half-breeds infertile? They wanted her to be a pure breed, but there was nothing she could do about that. She wasn't able to change that aspect of herself, and for the first time in awhile, she felt ashamed and guilty for existing. Even Henry voiced some of the nasty rumors to her, even echoed the voices in her head that she wasn't and never will be good enough, but that he still loved her anyways. Sonar felt lost, she didn't recognize herself in the mirror anymore, she felt so different and when she looked over on her shelf in her room to see her medical book peaking out and collecting dust on its wrinkled spine, it hit her. What has she been doing this whole time? Sonar expressed her want to continue her Doctorate degree, but Henry refused. He withheld her earnings as a model to only he having access to it and letting her spent the amount he set for her. On times when she really insisted on her career as a doctor, Henry refused to give her food. Starving her until she begs to be fed and do as he says. If she behaved and did as he told, he would indulge her for a feast just to tell her she's gained weight and needs to strip her off food for awhile so she can get back into those tightly fit dresses and clothing for the next Catwalk photo shoot. That was her life for years until she was 16. In secret she would study her books, she practiced her healing, but she would be too weak to fully let it go due to being severely underweight and not have enough energy to spend. There was also something else she noticed when coming to live in Casino Night Zone, like a poison in the air making her very weak at times. It was almost like something was keeping her mana suppressed. That wasn't the only thing she began to notice as the world she once thought was paradise began to fall apart in front of her, all these rich mobians didn't have a need for mana abilities. If she dare say, some looked even scared at the mention of it or when she revealed she can heal using her mana ability. Then Henry banned her from using her mana ability entirely, if she did, she will not be given any food before kissing her forehead and expressing his love to her. But Sonar was not buying it anymore, her rose tinted glasses have been broken. Now she's really curious, what is this place hiding?
Sonar did her research in secret. At times escaping out of her room during curfew hours to scout the zone for clues. She used what she learned long ago with Sonic to get around in the shadows. She spotted someone familiar heading to an undisclosed part of the zone, after using her echoes, the return echo gave her the image of Henry himself. He wasn't alone, there was several other higher up rich mobians following close behind him. So, she followed them. Masking her presence was more difficult inside, so she quickly found a vent and used it to her advantage. She used her echoes to keep track of where they were going. Once they reached a room, she quickly listened in and she heard a very familiar voice that she hasn't heard in years since the attack of her home. It was that Dr. Eggman guy! She let out a rather loud audible gasp that echoes the vent, but she quickly covered her mouth as that prompted several of the Mobians to look around. Thankfully, they resumed their meeting with this horrible man. From there she overheard how their money was going to be used for new robots and facilities. If they don't comply then they will be turned into robots to work for him. It was strange to see Henry so compliant, she never thought someone like him could be told what to do, but I guess when your life is on the line, you'd do anything to keep it. With her new found knowledge of the situation, she contemplated whether to tell Henry and tell him to fight back or stay silent and avoid the confrontation all together. Afterall, she did break curfew and wasn't even supposed to be there in the first place. She tracked back before the meeting was over so she could make it back home before Henry did. Unfortunately, she was too focused on what to do, a choice was made for her. She was sweating and she ended up slipping on the way out the vent making a big noise and alerted the guests, which they promptly looked at her. Sonar wasn't even given a chance to get up on her own and Dr. Eggman was upon her quickly, picking her up from the scruff of her neck. The movement causing an ache in her tail and her forearm, her quick medical skills already assessing she hairline fractured them due to her malnutrition making her bones weak. But those were the least of her worries, she was caught red handed for eavesdropping. She doesn't remember much other than flashes of Henry’s face, the sound of his voice mixed with Eggman’s, eventually passing out and woke up in her bed with a massive headache. Her tail and arm bandaged up and green rings on her wrists. Before she could question what transpired the night before. Henry came to her room, an eyepatch over his left eye and a scar running along side it. When asked about it, he simply said there was an accident, but he leaned in dangerously close and whispered "if you leave your room again after curfew hours, I won't save your ass again. You owe me for the eye you cost me." A dangerous chill went down her spine, and everything went cold. The next thing she knew, she was grabbed by her quills, thrown off the bed and onto the cold floor. Terrified didn't begin to describe what she felt as Henry loomed over her, repeating the words "you will pay!" To her as he punched and kicked her. Sonar let him, afterall, she caused him to lose an eye. After he had his fill, he picked her up and placed her on the bed and began to treat her wounds he caused. Kissing them and apologizing for hurting her, but telling her if she didn't do what she did, none of this would've happened. From that day on, Sonar was more cautious, for the first time she feared him and what he could do. Her wounds healed quickly which ment after a week of bed rest she was back to modeling clothes. The situation with Henry was never made public, instead a fabrication that he saved his girlfriend from a mugger and that made him lose an eye. He was hailed a hero and told Sonar how lucky she was to have him around. She didn't say anything and just smiled and nodded, but the smile never reached her eyes, of course, the snot rich mobians wouldn't catch that. As time went on, Henry abused her more, she could just heal the wounds in a week or two, nobody noticed it anyways. It was his way to show her he's still in control. Eventually, Sonar gave in, her inner darkness was just too much to hold back. Henry saw the fruits of his labor, this is what he wanted. Sonar was in prime position to be under his control of Dark Gaia magic. Sonar lost herself in the darkness, and a new self took her place. One that was vengeful, and bitter, but obedient. Henry liked to call this puppet, Radar. With his new minion under his control, he can utilize her power to take lives away and be able to let her take her rage out on the other rich mobians that spread those nasty rumors about her. He even took her directly to Eggman to show off what his new puppet could do. Eggman loved what he saw, and decided he had a special present for her. A reunion. He led them down to a basement in his facility where he opened the doors and revealed Sonar’s parents who were locked up and trapped. Upon seeing her parents there was a flicker of her old self peaking through but Henry quickly regained control over her, whispering in her ear, "remember how much they told you they didn't care about your dreams to become a doctor? They didn't believe in you like I did, they wouldn't even give you the time of day! Not even the money to put you through your schooling. My late father did so much for you and what did they do for you? Leave you all alone and abandoned you. They don't deserve to live." With those words, Radar had her resolve, despite her parents pleading for her to reconsider and to listen to them, it was no use, she took their lives leaving nothing but empty shells. Radar continued to modle for Henry’s fashion shows, his competitors now out of the way, his business was thriving more than ever. The reports he heard was that his competitors fell into a coma and all their fashion works were put on hold until they recovered. Henry knew they wouldn't, but it was best for them to think they had a chance as long as it never traces back to him. No one noticed the changes in Radar or how the once sweet innocent Sonar suddenly just didn't smile anymore. Some say she finally matured into her role as a model and praised her, some say she's finally thinking she's higher than everyone else despite her being a half-breed. There was no pleasing everyone, and Radar understood that much, so she let the comments slide, knowing Henry will take care of it later. Then one day, something happened. Eggman had lost to a pesky blue hedgehog, who has been making a name for himself all over the world. Henry knew about this blue blur, but refused to acknowledge his existence and therefore refused anyone to mention about him or about what news goes on outside Casino Night Zone. This was to keep Radar in check knowing she had previous history with him. It was all falling apart right before him. As the Dark Gaia energy was sealed back in the planet thanks to this blue hedgehog, his magic was now limited. He hasn't relied on mana in years, therefore his use of it was very weak. This caused a major problem as his control over Radar began to weaken. Slowly, Sonar was coming back to her self. Realizing the horrors she committed, she was distraught. With the chaos of everything happening, fashion sales plummeting, Henry needed to attend his bouts about the money he's losing than keeping control over Sonar. This allowed her just enough time to escape Casino Night Zone and on the run as a runaway model.

Sonar was able to successfully escape Casino Night Zone into a wooded Forest. She only had enough time to grab a few things from her room before leaving the city completely. The terrors of what she went through still plagued her mind. She looked at her hands which now were stained with "blood", and the biggest thing was that her parents were a part of this. At the thought, she had a massive breakdown. Her chance of finally seeing them was ruined by her own hand. For several months, all Sonar could do was run and hide, steal food whenever she could without being seen. Afraid that if someone sees her face, they will recognize her as the Alfalo Fashion Inc. Model. Unbeknownst to her, Eggman was on the hunt for her. He saw what her power could do and he wanted it for himself, now that Sonar was no longer under Henry's control. It was in one of the outskirt villages in Furville that Eggman managed to locate her and capture her. Sonar at this point didn't have much fight left in her, she didn't want to deal with the burden of what she had done and felt appropriate that Eggman could kill her and get it over with, until, she was suddenly freed from the strap table and in the arms of someone familiar. Sonic had come to rescue her...again. After fleeing with her in tow, it was a rough introduction of the Freedom Fighters to his childhood friend Sonar. She was a bit hostile and very much keeping to herself. Months on the run hiding from anyone and the abuse the took from her time with Henry in Casino Night Zone, and the trauma that transpired there have left Sonar with scars she can't heal. On one hand Sonic was glad he found her, but the other wishes it was on better terms. After a month or so, things sorta began to get better. Sonar was starting to get used to these new people in her life, and upon getting to know some of the members of the Freedom Fighters, she couldn't fantom that a PRINCESS was a mixed breed, just like her. All her life she never met anyone else that was a mixed breed like her, she always thought that this was how half-breeds were treated. To know that wasn't the case at all for Sally, it left her chest feeling crushed and a bit hurt that Sally didn't advocate for her types and stop the abuse sooner if she had such position in power. This left a major rift between the team and Sonar. They let it slide, afterall, this girl suffered a lot of trauma, she had a right to be angry and upset. The next time Eggman attacked, he got away with Sonar in tow, this time he made sure he left the talking for later and get down to what he wanted her for. Her mana. Given that her mana was now connected to her life-force, the moment Dr. Eggman tries to take her power, it will essentially kill her. The procedure went ahead anyways, and Sonar’s power was being drained. Sonic busted in and tried to break her free from the glass tubing she was in, but ended up damaging the machine, all the energy that was taken out of Sonar already, including the abundance of Dark Gaia energy, was released and forced back into Sonar. Causing her green rings to burst and Sonar to be fully consumed by the darkness and transforming her into a monster. Radar now in full control over Sonar's body she takes off to go on a rampage in the city below. Sonic feeling guilty over what he just did, went after her to stop her from doing damage to the city. After a fight with Radar over some cities and eventually The Great Desert, Sonic would noticed that several "light orbs" were released and went off somewhere, one Orb went close to him and whispered "thank you's", and "please tell Sonar to come save them". He only nodded and they went away. Sonic also convinced G.U.N to lay off Sonar and explained she was just under the Influence of being exposed to Dark Gaia energy, much to how he was once exposed to that and how that turned him into a monster. They followed his word as it wasn't uncommon since the incident. Some humans were still effected by it as well as some mobians and animals. They were able to forgive Sonar and gave her proper medical treatment at the hospital. Which in turn, they also gave her mental health care for the past traumas during her recovery and her malnutrition. Her bond with the Freedom Fighters grew the more they stuck around with her, eventually apologizing to them for how they met and what later transpired. Sally mentioned to Sonar that she will pay for her to go to Chun-Nan and study to be a doctor with someone by the name of Allure the Orchid Mantis. Upon hearing the name, Sonar immediately jumped in excitement explaining that she used to be her dad's mentor! She would honor and appreciate it very much for this opportunity. With that she was off to study what she first wanted to become, a Doctor. After 2 years under Allure's guidance Sonar passed all her exams and studies with flying colors, thanks to her never fully giving up on her dream and for her memory being a sponge as Allure said. Sonar graduated early from medical school and earned her M.D and her medical belt to let people know she is a full fledged Doctor. Flying back home to the Freedom Fighters, they welcomed her with open arms and even gave her a surprise of her new home and clinic in the outskirts of West Side Island near the Kingdom of Acorns. While everything was great and all, there was still something off. Sonic had mentioned to Sonar before she left to Chun-Nan about strange orbs. Sonar didn't remember what they meant at first, but after studying abroad and learned more about her abilities, it hit her. Her parents had been wanting her to come save them and it's been 2 years! They calmed her down explaining that she wasn't ready for such a grueling mission after being in recovery for 3 years, but now that she's here and she had proper training and learned a few skills to help her cope with having to go back to Casino Night Zone, she should be able to stay focused and not have a mental breakdown in the middle of saving her parents. During her absence they had deployed many missions to scout Casino Night Zone to locate where her parents were, assuming they had been moved to a different location in which they have been. This eased Sonar's mind that it wasn't a waste of time, if she had gone in there to find her parents gone, she wouldn't know what to do. Plus, the very hard risk of being noticed and recognized by the mobians there would alert Henry that she's back. Sonar wanted to avoid that at all cost. After going over their plans it was time to execute it. Everything went according to plan and even Sonar was able to try out a new move she learned during her time with Allure, her ability to shape-shift into a small bat like her dad used to do. This helped with her stealth and being able to blend in without being recognized. It was a tearful reunion after finding her parents alive, shaken and beat up, but alive. Sonar was properly able to express how much she missed them and to apologize for what she did years prior. All was forgiven, and even they got a chance to apologize to her for not being there when she needed them, but that they always wanted to tell her they were proud of her and even more now that she followed and accomplished her dreams of becoming a doctor. A doctor to the royal court and a Freedom Fighter organization by the Princess herself. A title Dr. Cezar knew well from back when he used to work for Sally's father, King Nigel Acorn back in the day alongside Sonic parents. Which everyone was shocked to hear and how it all came full circle. Until, a sarcastic clap came from the shadows and out walked Henry, mocking the reunion. "How nice, what a wonderful reunion this was. Where's my happy reunion with my little Maple Cinnamon huh?" This prompted a fight, but Henry bailed before they could capture him to properly charge him for what he did to Sonar. But like Dr. Eggman, he was quick with his escape but they all knew he would be back. Sonar wasn't too worried, she can defend herself if she needs to, she was never going to fall for his tricks and manipulation anymore, and while she's still healing from the trauma, she knows she's much stronger now and much happier than she has ever been, and that's all that matters to her. All she can do is keep going, progressing and learning. One step at a time. She was born a long-eared hedgebat, once a former servant of darkness, now a certified doctor. A redeemed hero. A Freedom Fighter.

Sonar’s love life
Past experiences taught Sonar not to open up about her feelings, out of fear of breaking her heart. Sonic was unlike any man she met, however. His humor, passion for life and fun-loving attitude made Sonar feel alive. She cherished their training sessions and couldn’t stop thinking about him even as she worked in her clinic. Sonar was hardly the only girl who felt this way about Sonic, though. He was constantly chased by other girls, Amy showed interest in him and even Sally herself used to date him. Sonar felt she had no chance with Sonic and so hid her desire for Sonic, feeling she would just cause fights with her teammates. One day, Sonic showed up at her clinic. He wanted to grab some ice cream in Apotos and Sonar took the chance, having just closed the clinic for the day. A seemingly calm night in the town felt awkward, as their emotions brought them closer. Sonic confessed to Sonar that he had been thinking about her for so long, that this was the first time since Sally that he felt so strongly for a girl. Sonar was thrilled to know he felt the same way, but worried she was just one of the many girls to Sonic. He simply laughed it off and reminded her of the difference: they chased him, but he sought her out. It was a choice guided by passion, like so many others Sonar had come to cherish from her blue hero. Neither of them knew exactly what to do next, so they just closed their eyes and embraced each other. It was an unforgettable night for Sonar, the first kiss with her beloved hero, the day their fates ran together. The feelings that trapped Sonar had set her free at last.

Backstory:
There is mana that surrounds the world, it's what gives some mobians powers if they are sensitive enough to it. It is possible for some mobians with low frequency to mana be able to train and use said mana to have powers, but those are rare in some cases. Sonar fell in that category when she was little. Most mobians blamed it on her being a mixed breed, despite studies showing it doesn't just run on mixed breed species, but that didn't stop mobians from picking on her and making her seem useless and worthless. Sonar, however, wanted to prove to everyone she will surpass her old man and become the best doctor in the world. After her village was attacked by one of Eggman’s passing fleets, her parents took the fight but were later captured leaving Sonar all on her own. It was during this time she ran into Sonic on one of his ventures in West Side Island, and saved her from one of Eggman’s traps. After a rough introduction, they stayed together and they got to know each other as time passed. It was during this time together that Sonar began to develop her mana abilities. Shocked by this revelation, Sonar began to train her abilities with Sonic’s help. His constant injuries while they traveled and fought robots gave her good practice with her healing ability. The robots gave her also an opportunity to test out her Sonar waves, both in echoes and her scream. After 5 years of being together and traveling, the pair had a bumpy fallout leaving Sonar to go her separate ways with Sonic. Sonar stayed in a village for awhile, studying her medical books she salvaged from her wrecked home. She became a local there and even set up an herbal shop where she could make some money off her herbs, and even treated a few locals from ailments with her powers. It was all a down-low sort of deal given she had no money to go to school properly and earn her degree. A small price to pay inorder to feed and shelter herself from the world for awhile. At the age of 12, she had earned a name for herself in this village and that attracted a local to direct an injured wolf to her small shop. This wolf was Alfalo, of Alfalo Fashion Inc. One look at the small HedgeBat and he was hooked in making her his female model for his business. He used his sweet talk of giving her anything she needed to succeed in her Doctorate Degree, and giving her a real home, how could she not refuse? After packing up her things, she moved into Casino Night Zone. True to his word, Alfalo gave her a home and a lot of money to study classes on medicine. She was living her life, and of course she kept her end of the bargain and modeled the clothing Alfalo created. On her first ever debute on the catwalk, she met with a young wolf around her age, Henry, Alfalo's son and heir to Alfalo Fashion Inc. The two hit it off real well and fell in love. After a few years of doing things, her passion for her Doctorate decreased, and more time was spent in her changing everything of who she used to be to fit in with the new crowd she has. That included trying to fit into tiny dresses, strict rules of diets, constant photo shoots, and following the beauty standards of the time. She tried her best to disguise herself that she isn't a half-breed, but mobians still found out and rumors began to spread. Mobians began to talk about how is Henry going to have an heir with a half-breed, that aren't half-breeds infertile? They wanted her to be a pure breed, but there was nothing she could do about that. She wasn't able to change that aspect of herself, and for the first time in awhile, she felt ashamed and guilty for existing. Even Henry voiced some of the nasty rumors to her, even echoed the voices in her head that she wasn't and never will be good enough, but that he still loved her anyways. Sonar felt lost, she didn't recognize herself in the mirror anymore, she felt so different and when she looked over on her shelf in her room to see her medical book peaking out and collecting dust on its wrinkled spine, it hit her. What has she been doing this whole time? Sonar expressed her want to continue her Doctorate degree, but Henry refused. He withheld her earnings as a model to only he having access to it and letting her spent the amount he set for her. On times when she really insisted on her career as a doctor, Henry refused to give her food. Starving her until she begs to be fed and do as he says. If she behaved and did as he told, he would indulge her for a feast just to tell her she's gained weight and needs to strip her off food for awhile so she can get back into those tightly fit dresses and clothing for the next Catwalk photo shoot. That was her life for years until she was 16. In secret she would study her books, she practiced her healing, but she would be too weak to fully let it go due to being severely underweight and not have enough energy to spend. There was also something else she noticed when coming to live in Casino Night Zone, like a poison in the air making her very weak at times. It was almost like something was keeping her mana suppressed. That wasn't the only thing she began to notice as the world she once thought was paradise began to fall apart in front of her, all these rich mobians didn't have a need for mana abilities. If she dare say, some looked even scared at the mention of it or when she revealed she can heal using her mana ability. Then Henry banned her from using her mana ability entirely, if she did, she will not be given any food before kissing her forehead and expressing his love to her. But Sonar was not buying it anymore, her rose tinted glasses have been broken. Now she's really curious, what is this place hiding?
Sonar did her research in secret. At times escaping out of her room during curfew hours to scout the zone for clues. She used what she learned long ago with Sonic to get around in the shadows. She spotted someone familiar heading to an undisclosed part of the zone, after using her echoes, the return echo gave her the image of Henry himself. He wasn't alone, there was several other higher up rich mobians following close behind him. So, she followed them. Masking her presence was more difficult inside, so she quickly found a vent and used it to her advantage. She used her echoes to keep track of where they were going. Once they reached a room, she quickly listened in and she heard a very familiar voice that she hasn't heard in years since the attack of her home. It was that Dr. Eggman guy! She let out a rather loud audible gasp that echoes the vent, but she quickly covered her mouth as that prompted several of the Mobians to look around. Thankfully, they resumed their meeting with this horrible man. From there she overheard how their money was going to be used for new robots and facilities. If they don't comply then they will be turned into robots to work for him. It was strange to see Henry so compliant, she never thought someone like him could be told what to do, but I guess when your life is on the line, you'd do anything to keep it. With her new found knowledge of the situation, she contemplated whether to tell Henry and tell him to fight back or stay silent and avoid the confrontation all together. Afterall, she did break curfew and wasn't even supposed to be there in the first place. She tracked back before the meeting was over so she could make it back home before Henry did. Unfortunately, she was too focused on what to do, a choice was made for her. She was sweating and she ended up slipping on the way out the vent making a big noise and alerted the guests, which they promptly looked at her. Sonar wasn't even given a chance to get up on her own and Dr. Eggman was upon her quickly, picking her up from the scruff of her neck. The movement causing an ache in her tail and her forearm, her quick medical skills already assessing she hairline fractured them due to her malnutrition making her bones weak. But those were the least of her worries, she was caught red handed for eavesdropping. She doesn't remember much other than flashes of Henry’s face, the sound of his voice mixed with Eggman’s, eventually passing out and woke up in her bed with a massive headache. Her tail and arm bandaged up and green rings on her wrists. Before she could question what transpired the night before. Henry came to her room, an eyepatch over his left eye and a scar running along side it. When asked about it, he simply said there was an accident, but he leaned in dangerously close and whispered "if you leave your room again after curfew hours, I won't save your ass again. You owe me for the eye you cost me." A dangerous chill went down her spine, and everything went cold. The next thing she knew, she was grabbed by her quills, thrown off the bed and onto the cold floor. Terrified didn't begin to describe what she felt as Henry loomed over her, repeating the words "you will pay!" To her as he punched and kicked her. Sonar let him, afterall, she caused him to lose an eye. After he had his fill, he picked her up and placed her on the bed and began to treat her wounds he caused. Kissing them and apologizing for hurting her, but telling her if she didn't do what she did, none of this would've happened. From that day on, Sonar was more cautious, for the first time she feared him and what he could do. Her wounds healed quickly which ment after a week of bed rest she was back to modeling clothes. The situation with Henry was never made public, instead a fabrication that he saved his girlfriend from a mugger and that made him lose an eye. He was hailed a hero and told Sonar how lucky she was to have him around. She didn't say anything and just smiled and nodded, but the smile never reached her eyes, of course, the snot rich mobians wouldn't catch that. As time went on, Henry abused her more, she could just heal the wounds in a week or two, nobody noticed it anyways. It was his way to show her he's still in control. Eventually, Sonar gave in, her inner darkness was just too much to hold back. Henry saw the fruits of his labor, this is what he wanted. Sonar was in prime position to be under his control of Dark Gaia magic. Sonar lost herself in the darkness, and a new self took her place. One that was vengeful, and bitter, but obedient. Henry liked to call this puppet, Radar. With his new minion under his control, he can utilize her power to take lives away and be able to let her take her rage out on the other rich mobians that spread those nasty rumors about her. He even took her directly to Eggman to show off what his new puppet could do. Eggman loved what he saw, and decided he had a special present for her. A reunion. He led them down to a basement in his facility where he opened the doors and revealed Sonar’s parents who were locked up and trapped. Upon seeing her parents there was a flicker of her old self peaking through but Henry quickly regained control over her, whispering in her ear, "remember how much they told you they didn't care about your dreams to become a doctor? They didn't believe in you like I did, they wouldn't even give you the time of day! Not even the money to put you through your schooling. My late father did so much for you and what did they do for you? Leave you all alone and abandoned you. They don't deserve to live." With those words, Radar had her resolve, despite her parents pleading for her to reconsider and to listen to them, it was no use, she took their lives leaving nothing but empty shells. Radar continued to modle for Henry’s fashion shows, his competitors now out of the way, his business was thriving more than ever. The reports he heard was that his competitors fell into a coma and all their fashion works were put on hold until they recovered. Henry knew they wouldn't, but it was best for them to think they had a chance as long as it never traces back to him. No one noticed the changes in Radar or how the once sweet innocent Sonar suddenly just didn't smile anymore. Some say she finally matured into her role as a model and praised her, some say she's finally thinking she's higher than everyone else despite her being a half-breed. There was no pleasing everyone, and Radar understood that much, so she let the comments slide, knowing Henry will take care of it later. Then one day, something happened. Eggman had lost to a pesky blue hedgehog, who has been making a name for himself all over the world. Henry knew about this blue blur, but refused to acknowledge his existence and therefore refused anyone to mention about him or about what news goes on outside Casino Night Zone. This was to keep Radar in check knowing she had previous history with him. It was all falling apart right before him. As the Dark Gaia energy was sealed back in the planet thanks to this blue hedgehog, his magic was now limited. He hasn't relied on mana in years, therefore his use of it was very weak. This caused a major problem as his control over Radar began to weaken. Slowly, Sonar was coming back to her self. Realizing the horrors she committed, she was distraught. With the chaos of everything happening, fashion sales plummeting, Henry needed to attend his bouts about the money he's losing than keeping control over Sonar. This allowed her just enough time to escape Casino Night Zone and on the run as a runaway model.

Sonar was able to successfully escape Casino Night Zone into a wooded Forest. She only had enough time to grab a few things from her room before leaving the city completely. The terrors of what she went through still plagued her mind. She looked at her hands which now were stained with "blood", and the biggest thing was that her parents were a part of this. At the thought, she had a massive breakdown. Her chance of finally seeing them was ruined by her own hand. For several months, all Sonar could do was run and hide, steal food whenever she could without being seen. Afraid that if someone sees her face, they will recognize her as the Alfalo Fashion Inc. Model. Unbeknownst to her, Eggman was on the hunt for her. He saw what her power could do and he wanted it for himself, now that Sonar was no longer under Henry's control. It was in one of the outskirt villages in Furville that Eggman managed to locate her and capture her. Sonar at this point didn't have much fight left in her, she didn't want to deal with the burden of what she had done and felt appropriate that Eggman could kill her and get it over with, until, she was suddenly freed from the strap table and in the arms of someone familiar. Sonic had come to rescue her...again. After fleeing with her in tow, it was a rough introduction of the Freedom Fighters to his childhood friend Sonar. She was a bit hostile and very much keeping to herself. Months on the run hiding from anyone and the abuse the took from her time with Henry in Casino Night Zone, and the trauma that transpired there have left Sonar with scars she can't heal. On one hand Sonic was glad he found her, but the other wishes it was on better terms. After a month or so, things sorta began to get better. Sonar was starting to get used to these new people in her life, and upon getting to know some of the members of the Freedom Fighters, she couldn't fantom that a PRINCESS was a mixed breed, just like her. All her life she never met anyone else that was a mixed breed like her, she always thought that this was how half-breeds were treated. To know that wasn't the case at all for Sally, it left her chest feeling crushed and a bit hurt that Sally didn't advocate for her types and stop the abuse sooner if she had such position in power. This left a major rift between the team and Sonar. They let it slide, afterall, this girl suffered a lot of trauma, she had a right to be angry and upset. The next time Eggman attacked, he got away with Sonar in tow, this time he made sure he left the talking for later and get down to what he wanted her for. Her mana. Given that her mana was now connected to her life-force, the moment Dr. Eggman tries to take her power, it will essentially kill her. The procedure went ahead anyways, and Sonar’s power was being drained. Sonic busted in and tried to break her free from the glass tubing she was in, but ended up damaging the machine, all the energy that was taken out of Sonar already, including the abundance of Dark Gaia energy, was released and forced back into Sonar. Causing her green rings to burst and Sonar to be fully consumed by the darkness and transforming her into a monster. Radar now in full control over Sonar's body she takes off to go on a rampage in the city below. Sonic feeling guilty over what he just did, went after her to stop her from doing damage to the city. After a fight with Radar over some cities and eventually The Great Desert, Sonic would noticed that several "light orbs" were released and went off somewhere, one Orb went close to him and whispered "thank you's", and "please tell Sonar to come save them". He only nodded and they went away. Sonic also convinced G.U.N to lay off Sonar and explained she was just under the Influence of being exposed to Dark Gaia energy, much to how he was once exposed to that and how that turned him into a monster. They followed his word as it wasn't uncommon since the incident. Some humans were still effected by it as well as some mobians and animals. They were able to forgive Sonar and gave her proper medical treatment at the hospital. Which in turn, they also gave her mental health care for the past traumas during her recovery and her malnutrition. Her bond with the Freedom Fighters grew the more they stuck around with her, eventually apologizing to them for how they met and what later transpired. Sally mentioned to Sonar that she will pay for her to go to Chun-Nan and study to be a doctor with someone by the name of Allure the Orchid Mantis. Upon hearing the name, Sonar immediately jumped in excitement explaining that she used to be her dad's mentor! She would honor and appreciate it very much for this opportunity. With that she was off to study what she first wanted to become, a Doctor. After 2 years under Allure's guidance Sonar passed all her exams and studies with flying colors, thanks to her never fully giving up on her dream and for her memory being a sponge as Allure said. Sonar graduated early from medical school and earned her M.D and her medical belt to let people know she is a full fledged Doctor. Flying back home to the Freedom Fighters, they welcomed her with open arms and even gave her a surprise of her new home and clinic in the outskirts of West Side Island near the Kingdom of Acorns. While everything was great and all, there was still something off. Sonic had mentioned to Sonar before she left to Chun-Nan about strange orbs. Sonar didn't remember what they meant at first, but after studying abroad and learned more about her abilities, it hit her. Her parents had been wanting her to come save them and it's been 2 years! They calmed her down explaining that she wasn't ready for such a grueling mission after being in recovery for 3 years, but now that she's here and she had proper training and learned a few skills to help her cope with having to go back to Casino Night Zone, she should be able to stay focused and not have a mental breakdown in the middle of saving her parents. During her absence they had deployed many missions to scout Casino Night Zone to locate where her parents were, assuming they had been moved to a different location in which they have been. This eased Sonar's mind that it wasn't a waste of time, if she had gone in there to find her parents gone, she wouldn't know what to do. Plus, the very hard risk of being noticed and recognized by the mobians there would alert Henry that she's back. Sonar wanted to avoid that at all cost. After going over their plans it was time to execute it. Everything went according to plan and even Sonar was able to try out a new move she learned during her time with Allure, her ability to shape-shift into a small bat like her dad used to do. This helped with her stealth and being able to blend in without being recognized. It was a tearful reunion after finding her parents alive, shaken and beat up, but alive. Sonar was properly able to express how much she missed them and to apologize for what she did years prior. All was forgiven, and even they got a chance to apologize to her for not being there when she needed them, but that they always wanted to tell her they were proud of her and even more now that she followed and accomplished her dreams of becoming a doctor. A doctor to the royal court and a Freedom Fighter organization by the Princess herself. A title Dr. Cezar knew well from back when he used to work for Sally's father, King Nigel Acorn back in the day alongside Sonic parents. Which everyone was shocked to hear and how it all came full circle. Until, a sarcastic clap came from the shadows and out walked Henry, mocking the reunion. "How nice, what a wonderful reunion this was. Where's my happy reunion with my little Maple Cinnamon huh?" This prompted a fight, but Henry bailed before they could capture him to properly charge him for what he did to Sonar. But like Dr. Eggman, he was quick with his escape but they all knew he would be back. Sonar wasn't too worried, she can defend herself if she needs to, she was never going to fall for his tricks and manipulation anymore, and while she's still healing from the trauma, she knows she's much stronger now and much happier than she has ever been, and that's all that matters to her. All she can do is keep going, progressing and learning. One step at a time. She was born a long-eared hedgebat, once a former servant of darkness, now a certified doctor. A redeemed hero. A Freedom Fighter.

Sonar’s love life
Past experiences taught Sonar not to open up about her feelings, out of fear of breaking her heart. Sonic was unlike any man she met, however. His humor, passion for life and fun-loving attitude made Sonar feel alive. She cherished their training sessions and couldn’t stop thinking about him even as she worked in her clinic. Sonar was hardly the only girl who felt this way about Sonic, though. He was constantly chased by other girls, Amy showed interest in him and even Sally herself used to date him. Sonar felt she had no chance with Sonic and so hid her desire for Sonic, feeling she would just cause fights with her teammates. One day, Sonic showed up at her clinic. He wanted to grab some ice cream in Apotos and Sonar took the chance, having just closed the clinic for the day. A seemingly calm night in the town felt awkward, as their emotions brought them closer. Sonic confessed to Sonar that he had been thinking about her for so long, that this was the first time since Sally that he felt so strongly for a girl. Sonar was thrilled to know he felt the same way, but worried she was just one of the many girls to Sonic. He simply laughed it off and reminded her of the difference: they chased him, but he sought her out. It was a choice guided by passion, like so many others Sonar had come to cherish from her blue hero. Neither of them knew exactly what to do next, so they just closed their eyes and embraced each other. It was an unforgettable night for Sonar, the first kiss with her beloved hero, the day their fates ran together. The feelings that trapped Sonar had set her free at last.
