I found this thing I drew and forgot what I wanted to do with it so here it is.I hate when people take characters and make them look like mix-and-match of their parents so I tried to avoid that with Kid and Ire. Although this tends to happen more so when the parent characters came first and the children are introduced after.

I dunno, I see what you are saying, but offspring do generally have a blend of their parent's features, with a few things added...

I'm not talking about blending traits, I'm talking about when character designs boils down to "Well he has the exact eye color of the mother, and this exact mark from the dad, and then this same base from the mother, but the dad's spots".
