damn I read that on his voice and then I was all sad.
and well I love the drawing, is like one HQ, and the effect on his lower lines remembered me that "splash" effect that I love, like something from Street Fighter 4 or the "here comes a new challenger" from smash bross.
also the stars effect and his eyes, AND THIS TEXTURE .
I don't know what to say I just loved the details, his eyes are perfect, you capture his fellings and the crack is a really awesome reference

This is just a incredible.
You've captured him perfectly. A quiet dignity, mixed with the sadness of someone who is far older than his face, but who is filled with kindness and compassion. This REALLY shows what Amy Pond said: "Amazing, though, don’t you think? The Star Whale. All that pain and misery… and loneliness… and it just made it kind. … But I’ve seen it before. Very old and very kind, and the very, very last — sound a bit familiar?".
He does look young, but somehow very very old, very very said, yet incredibly kind. I'm not sure I've ever seen the Doctor captured better. It's really hard to show that balance in a painting. It's perfect.
I just LOVE the crack in the background. And how his hair bleeds into space. Just wonderful.
Really, this is extraordinary. I hope that sometime Matt Smith sees this.

OMG Ted, you're going to make me cry with all those nice words and ahhhhh that quote ;_; I should add it to the description!
This expression is the best I saw from Matt (and it's really difficult because he's an absolutely amazing actor and every expression is full of meaning). I wondered if I was communicating well all those feelings with the image but as you've described all that feelings I had while I was painting it I think it's a success!
