Here are My Favorite Things about this:
A. PIZZA STEVE GETTING EATEN BY AMETHYST(THAT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SATISFYING ESPECIALLY AFTER THE D*CK MOVE HE DID TO GUS THIS TIME)
B. The Moments between GRFT & Lion(I Totally Ship them; ESPECIALLY NOW WE KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT LION; THANKS TO LARS)
My LEAST Favorite Part: PIZZA STEVE PURPOSEFULLY RUINING MR. GUS' DRAWING OF HIS GEMSONA!!!!!!!! DON'T WORRY, HE GETS HIS RETRIBUTION LATER!!!!!

This crossover managed to entertain me, despite being a crossover between shows that I actually don't like all that much.Β No offense to people who love these shows, but at the moment, they don't do it for me (also, this is a compliment - even someone who isn't a fan of eitherΒ found the crossover to be good).

I liked this one. It's something that all fand-no, everybody should take into account. If you see something that you find weird, there's no need to hate someone for it. On dA, there is someone I watch who would often put up callouts on people on dA, Tumblr, etc. who have... Some odd interests. Their fans eventually told them to stop because not only it was disrespectful, it could get out of hand real quickly. Fortunately they haven't done it since then. Is a good lesson to learn from.

I will still never forgive Comedy Network for running an April Fools joke on April 2nd... after one of their older cartoons mocked someone for doing just that! (Johnny Bravo) Comedy Network is so incompetent they can't even do a one-time event properly.
(No I have not seen the special, and I never will. Comedy Network should've run this on April 1st, since it's an April Fools joke. To do this shows their staff is being run by monkeys, and not the Mojo Jojo kind, either.)

Hmm.
I got to admit, I did enjoy this crossover.
I mean, this is suppose to be The Steven Universe staff defending Uncle Grandpa against the negative feedback UG gets for being incredibly weird.
Now, I'm not a huge fan of UG, I just think it's too weird for it's own good.
But, I do appreciate a cartoon that's sticking up it's contemporary.
And my thoughts about SU, the title character; Pearl said it best; "Sweet and considerate and only occasionally obnoxious."
Just like the Crewinverse. Minus the obnoxious.

Best April Fools Day episode of a show since those iCarly and Victorious episodes.

Against all the odds, this crossover pulled through and it succeeded.
Pearl's reactions were admittedly hilarious. I also cracked up with Mr. Gus being able to create hisΒ own Gemsona.
Even though Simpsons Guy was a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine, I can admit it is flawed in a fair few ways.
Gotta love those fourth wall jokes. They always crack me up in some way.
Overall, a fun crossover that managed to be hilarious and admirable against all the odds.

I mean, the episode pointed out it's non-canon, showed the words, "April Fools", and showing Pearl gone over-dramtic was fun to watch!
I never thought that this episode would be that good, but I'm proud to state that "Steven Universe" IS another favorite cartoon show of all time.
Heck, they even add video gaming references in the show. Steven owns a Nintendo Gamecube, in "Garnet's Universe", they use a WiiU Game pad, the DJ was using classic Game Boy and Game Boy Advance handheld consoles to enhance the music! Speaking of which, the music also sounds like classic 8/16-bit video game music and it really sets off the mood of what's going on in the stories. Such as in the end of "Lars and the Cool Kids", the music sounds like a dramatic ending to a video game with a touch of beauty and happiness.
