What do you think about this theme ?? Its posible to make taskbar to look just like in the image ??PS: This is just proposition for Visual Style for Windows XP

I have seen Vista LE - it's too bright.

What colour will be caption bars? The same colour as the task bar or they will be light grey?

PS: Musze rozwiazac tez problem z taskbarem bo bardzo chcialbym zrobic tego gradienta ale... jak wgralem to do wersji testowej to niektore elementy systemu windows przestaly byc skinowane i dlatego musze wyczaic co i jak jest

It is very nice because it is not black or grey. I would prefer without the gradient in the taskbar however.

but there are some bugs with displaying some thing (like menu & some other parts of system is not skined now) and i must think how to fix it.

I like this idea... I'd really like to know how to remove the icons from each window's titlebar, and their presence in the taskbar. In essence creating what you have in this mockup. I like the idea of the blue aura gradient, but like previously mentioned, you should find a good way of getting rid of that non-functional search bar... and possibly do some cool aura colors on the rollover for the log off/shut down buttons.
I'm not very familiar with skinning, but if you have any questions, or end up needing testers, i'm with you all the way.

I am working on a similar visual style to this. You can do the gradient as the bitmap can be any size.

heh someone in another forum told me that
"...that taskbar wouldn't work as a visual style i don't think. If the colour fades along then it wouldn't work as the taskbar background is just a looping bmp, for example the taskbar background from XP luna (see attachment.) I'm not sure if wb would support it but I don't think you can have the colour changing for the leghnth of the task bar in xp.

I like the task bar but I think the gradient Idea would be better with something more original than the standard vista we see around here.
