Great game.
The gameplay is simplistic, but I don't play indie games for complex combat mechanics. That said, the game is laughably easy. About 90% of the game can be brute forced with Construction Worker Derpy + the HP Regen stamp (Cadance I think?).
The writing is pretty good as well. Obviously being a fan of the show is a requirement, but it has its moments (dat Moonwalker reference)
The art is easily the best thing about the game though. The sheer number of characters and background usage is fantastic. I loved how every(?) character had a bounce to them. It gave them life and helped them stand out from the static backgrounds.

this game was Really fun I just finished beating it aside from the fight with the mane 6(is it even possible?)
though I am gonna try a second play through and try to legitimately beat it. I found a method that makes every boss a complete joke. Greedy Magician with Hoofdini and shadowbolts stamps for the luck boost and a supply of party cannons about 5 can kill most. celestia took about 12. and the final boss was around 8 completly ignoring the dream eaters and focusing on just tantabus
