He was an amazing man, and portrayed one of the most lovable ahd unique characters in the Star Wars SagaI was fortunate (and thankful) to have met him once like, 8 years ago I believe.

I was so sad when I heard the news...in the past few years, we've lost a droid, a princess, and now a Wookiee. Life is so unfair and cruel!!

It is sad... losing them (and even a sith lord, Count Dooku.... ). That's how life is.... it was never meant to be like this, death and loss.... but that's how it will be for the remainder of time

I did not know that Peter Mayhew passed away. I saw a photo of him with his arm around his mom. It was so sweet. You could tell that he was a kind man.
