I am sorry... actually, NO, I am not.... I cannot unbiasly look at the new Lightyear film without comparing it to Buzz Lightyear of Star Command; favoring and giving more points to Blosc. The series, it's cast of characters (with this picture havign Mira Nova, Boster Sinclair Munchapper and XR), the stories, comedy and drama- it is near perfection. Plus, it fits into the in-universe timeline of Toy Story. With Lightyear coming before it, looking like a modern film as oppose to something in the 90s- it breaks the in-universe lore of it. Furthermore, if we had other Buzz shows- like a late 2000s cartoon, an anime, and even Buzz Lightyear Go (which would suck as much as TTG and ThudnecatsRoar and PPG-2016), I'd feel less animosity toward the movie because it'll just be another rendition of Buzz rather than Disney sweeping BlosC under the carpet.
