Trouble with the Sonic comic was that it was getting to be a crowd scene, with most characters being undeveloped under-utilized extras. I cancelled at #135 or so, when Sally broke her engagement with Sonic (he wouldn't retire from freedom-fighting and she was desperate for his safety, due to recent events.). He had also just acquired the ability to understand all languages.
Vanilla also made me think of the Tall Ones ,some of the ALFs in my wizardry school. Their ears trailed on the ground !

Cream's caring mother. She has trouble socializing with Sonic and Co., but she's argubably the most light-hearted character in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Second to Cream, of course.
