Chapter 1

Sonic was stuck. Eggman had abandoned the por hedgehog in a place that to most people would enjoy. However as you probably know sonic has Hydrophobia so to him.. it was a death trap.

He starred down at his legs fully submerged under the water. The light, glistening on the surface. Okay. Okay. Keep calm sonic. He told himself. Tails and the gang will be looking for me soon so need to worry. But right when he finished he gave a small yelp when something touched his legs. What was that! He exclaimed.

He looked down again to see a small fish swimming around the hedgehog. And in a friendly manner nibbled under his leg. H-Hey ha ha cut it out that tickles! He laughed squirming. That seemed to starteld the fish, because it swam away. Sonic was beginning to panic. Because what if something bigger came to eat him! He couldn't move because of the weight. And even without the weight,
he couldn't swim.

He really hoped his friends would find him before then. Minutes past. hours seemed to be going as in slow motion. He was sweating out of nervousness. His already big eyes became even more widened in horror. When he saw a fin far in the distance. Oh no! He muttered. Before he exclaimed. I gotta get out of here!! Desperately he tried to squirm out of the restraints.

This is it! im gonna die! He screamed as the fin came closer. HELP!!!!! SOMEBODY! HELP MEEEEEE!!! ANYBODY HELP!!

Sonic began to shake in fear as the fin begain to come faster. NONONONONO!! He screamed! He squeezed his eyes shut in fear! Tails,amy,knuckles im sorry. he whispered tears building in his eyes. He could hear the creature coming closer. To his surprise he felt something soft gently rubbed against him. Baffled he opened his eyes a bit.

He saw a friendly little dolphin giveing him a worried look. Uhh hi there. He greeted. With a small,shepesh smile.Your not going to eat me, a-are you? The dolphin gave him a smile of it own. nuzzling him on his belly. Hahahaha! Alright! alrihihihight! he laughed thahahahats uhuhunuff HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. He began to squirm again but only because it tickled. Finally the dolphin stopped. giving him a chance to breath

Still giggling a bit he looked up at his new friend. Before he asked. You mind helping me out here? Im stuck and I can't swim. His new friend nodded. Before Swiming down a bit. It tryed to bite the chain but it didn't budge. then the little dolphin sawm a way with a idea. H-Hey were are you going? P-please come back! Sonic begged.

The dolphin engorged him swimming down and out of sight. Sonics face fell. This was so not like him being scared, begging. Usually he could keep it in. But out here?
IN WATER? he couldn't take it.

Meanwhile the dolphin has grazing the floor looking for something with her echo location. She felt sorry for the stranded blue hedgehog. She knew how he felt. Because she herself was lost..And scared. She had got separated from her mother and the rest of the pod In a current. She stopped when she found something in the sand. A small wire made of metal. (Perfect.) She thought. She grabbed the wire with her mouth and swam back in Sonics direction.

(Back with sonic.) He had fallen asleep. worn out from his fight with eggman. Plus being stressed out by the fact that he was in water. His dolphin friend seemed to be worried about him because she gave him another worred look of concern. (Is he ok? Did i... take to long?) She put the old wire down on the the sandy floor allowing her to swim back up and nuzzle his neck earning, a small moan from the sleeping blue hedgehog . But to her relief, the corners of his mouth inched upward ever so slightly

She waited a little while for him too wake up. As she cuddled him with her body falling asleep herself.
