Eventually Sonic's eyes began to creep open. It felt like something heavy was on him top of him. He turned his head groggily to the side. And little dolphin lay cuddled up with him. Sonic's eyes widened in surprise. Im i seeing things? He mumbled shakeing his head. The dolphin woke up and saw that he woke up too.

Sonic laughed as She gave out a high pitched squeak of joy. Wile nuzzling him again. before going down to get the wire and show it to him. what's that for? He asked. She gave him a chirp, before diving back down to pick the lock. Once he felt it was gone he gasped.

ohhh thats what its for. He said offering a smile, when his new friend came back up again. His friend was delighted to see his smile and sent it right back. Ugh. He sighed looking down. I still gotta get out of this thing. He was referring to the (floaty/restraint) his new friend thought for a moment.

Then gave him yet another smile. Useing her snout she carved in to the sand to make a small purch. Then pushed Sonic into it. Uhhh okay? Im not sure what your doing...but I'll assume its helpful. He asked. She gave him a small nod. Before trying to bite the restraint too pull it off. This Caused sonic bite his lip and squirm a lot, trying not to laugh.

It keep slipping though so she had to try again. And again. And again. Finally sonic burst out laughing. BWF-Hahahahahaha! s-stop!! its nohohohot working!!HAHAHAHA!!! The dolphin glanced up at the ticklish and gasping hedgehog. But she coudnt stop. She had to get him out of there. Giving him a sorry look...

She tryed again. Stahahp plehehehease!! Hahahaha!!! H-Hey wait! Nohoho! Hahaha-
Finally she got it to rip. Makeing it easier to pull off. Sonic was still a giggling mess so she had to pull it off. But when she did she accidentally pulled him under. Sonic barely had time to gasp for air!

She quickly dived after him! She firmly grabbed his hand. But didnt hurt him, and pulled him back up to the sand bar. Splash! (GASP) AIR! (GASP) I NEED AIR! He said breathlessly. Now supporting himself on his hands and nee's. coughing. The dry sand being a relief to him. Land. He said collapsing to the ground.

Sonic blacked out.

Sonic? Sonic? Someone said. Sonic thought it sounded like Marine. But he wasn't sure. he just layed there for a long moment. That is.. until he felt water pouring onto his head. AHH! HEY! WHAT'S GOING ON!? He shouted jerking up.

It truly was Marine standing above him.she stood there with a small bucket at hand. Finally! What happened to you? Marine asked in her Australian accent. Marine! its a long story. but it's really good to see you. He glanced around for his friend. Uh have you seen a small dolphin around? He asked. You mean this little cutey?
She asked.

Sure anuff the dolphin was still there. Still looking worried and yet happy to see him up. She swam closer and gave him a little wave before receiving a pet on the head from Sonic. Hey there bud. You ok? He asked. She nodded. Good.
