I feel as if this is using dry humour, but then that could just be me.

I like the way you have set it out and I think the concept is an interesting one as well. It's as if the person had forgotten air in the planning, equations, etc. and... yeah, it has led to the 'Failed Experiment' there.

'air' isn't quite the technical term, but then again, perhaps it is in this context.
