Ember: Maybe because you haven't eaten anything in a few days?
Katie: Yeah, that might be it...*looks around; spots an apple tree and uses her psychokinesis powers to pick an apple; gets it and quickly eats it* That's better.

Katie: *sitting on the edge of shadow's bed; reading in her Book About Dragons while the hatchling is chirping at her* Hang on, little one. I'm not sure what you want

Katie: Thanks. And from what Ember told me, the baby can't eat solid foods until she's at least a week old. Dragons age more quickly than us, so in just a matter of weeks, Shadow will be able to ride her. Good think I brought this. *opens her backpack and pulls out a bottle of warm milk; picks up the little dragon and starts feeding her* Hm...it would be easier if she had a name. Is Shads here? Cause only the rider can name their dragon.
