Well, you can always change it whenever you like. Sometimes starting small and having everything in view without scrolling helps me with the proportions.
Then I just stretch it and line-art.

I personally like sketchiness compared to rock lines like I draw. Has a nice and funky flow, which I must say you seemed to have mastered~.
And I can see what you're getting at with the sense some vibe is sucked away when a sketch is inked.

Some people are awesome at inking stuff without making it look robotic. XD I'm not always the best at it, but when I ink things it's sketchy then too. If I have a "style", I guess it's sketchiness, lol.
