Description Well, seeing there was no stamp made of this topic, I decided to make my own. Yea, I know this isn't the best quality, but it makes the point I'm trying to make.

Anyway, for those wondering why I'm making this... well... I'm just fed up with phony people, especially on here. Now, before any gets the wrong idea, it is not directed at any person, but just insincere and flaky people in general. And when I mean flaky, I mean people who act like they want to be your friend and the next don't. They need to be called out for all the damage they do to others because it is wrong and extremely destructive.

So, to sum this up... I'm not labeling anyone. Only a person themselves knows whether or not they are sincere or not sincere.

To my friends and watchers who truly are sincere and genuine, I'm honored to have you as one or both. To those who are not, I have only one thing to say to you: Kindly unwatch me, get off of my page and don't ever show your sorry faces to me again.

If this sounds very rude, sorry, but that is how I honestly feel about this. I only want sincere friends and watchers. The rest? I couldn't care less if they left. I really couldn't.

If you agree with this stamp, leave a comment about it and share your thoughts. I'd love to hear them. You may even use it on your page if you want as well. If you don't agree with it, then please don't comment unless you respectfully explain why.

One final warning: If this gets flamed alot, I will disable the comments entirely. I will not have this submission targeted because some can't handle the truth.

^^

Nope... decent should never be an acceptable standard in a series. It should at least very good or great.

You have a great relationship with you Dad I have to say. I'm happy you do.

Yea, true... sometimes I wish I was popular, but wonder if it'd be worth it in the long run.

Exactly, a series just being okay doesn't cut it if the guys who made it want it to be popular. But I guess with games like Colors, a large majority of the fandom will just swallow up almost anything they're fed.

Thanks, I'm really glad I could have him as my dad

Yeah, being popular does have it's up and down sides. As much as I want to be popular here, I'm still happy where I am right now. ^^

^^

The majority of society unfortunately has very low standards nowadays... that's why they keep producing this subpar stuff because the fans keep buying it no matter what. It's no wonder these companies are inclined to change when that happens.

You're welcome, Sparkle.

Same here. I don't need popularity to make me content, just genuine friends who care about me. ^^

Yeap, and it seems to be getting worse with just about every new game. I mean, I've got so much disappointment from the Sonic series, it's almost like the creator's of it could care less and less about the quality in their games nowadays, and just want to get something more out for the fans to gobble up without a second thought.

Agreed, friends like you, make me feel like one of the most special people here, and that's good enough for me

SonicSatamX93 In reply to TheSparklyMisfit [2014-03-20 00:03:07 +0000 UTC]

Yea.. it's for that reason why I'm extremely reluctant to ever play a modern Sonic game again. I just don't trust SEGA to give the blue blur a quality game like before.

^^ So true...

If I ever lost my wonderful friends on here, I'd quit coming on here. That's how much they mean to me.

Same here, unless they start treating Sonic and friends correctly and make the game good as well, then I might actually get that, and not get set up for disappointment.

Really? I probably wouldn't do as good for long either, if so then I might just end up going as well

A great way to find out if a game is worth buying is looking up reviews of it from respected video game reviewers. Most of the time, they're dead on right about a game being great, good or even total crap.

^^ Yay!

TheSparklyMisfit In reply to SonicSatamX93 [2014-03-22 08:30:46 +0000 UTC]

^^

That's a pretty good idea. I think I should do it more often, but in case the game is good, I'd try to find one without spoilers. I like to have a little surprise when playing a game.

SonicSatamX93 In reply to TheSparklyMisfit [2014-03-22 12:20:41 +0000 UTC]

Well, the ones I watch sadly do give alot of spoilers, but they're in a sense necessary because they let you know what you're in for. I can live with knowing a few spoilers if it means not making a bad purchase.

I see, I guess when playing a game I did some research for, I like a little surprise, I guess it's why I don't like seeing too many spoilers for them xD So any research I do for a certain game I do to a certain extent.

I understand. You don't want everything revealed before you play the game. I admit I wouldn't everything revealed either. It takes some of the fun out of playing a new game.

Yeah, I like the fun of figuring out a game for myself, but it still doesn't hurt to know some person's opinion on said game.

Exactly.

Anyway, one of the reviewers I watch is someone called Angry Joe. He reviews mostly XBOX games, but he's usually dead on about whether a game is good or it heavily sucks.

Well, that's ok. I mean we're all different. Sometimes I watch those too, but only if they're really good at commentating. There are some who have such annoying voices and dialogue, I'm like, "Ugh, just shut up and play the game."

I see,  a lot of the time I don't worry to much on the voices or dialogue, sometimes I just watch something even if it's a game I most likely wouldn't get, just because I find the commentary while they play them funny

^^

Yea, the more I watch mysteries, the more I know that is their secret to figuring them out. They know if they can sneak in a subtle detail or two during a story, most people won't likely figure out its significance until later. It's almost like a magic trick you could say, making the audience focus on something else rather than what really is behind the trick.

Indeed. My Mom is a huge mystery fan. She loves mystery stories for as long as I can remember. She even watches one called Alfred Hitchcock Presents. If you like bizarre and twisted stories, that is a show I highly recommend. It always leaves you guessing for the most part.

I know... I just love it when a reviewer just blasts a bad game and does it so comically, you want to see him review more bad games just to see what he'll say about em.

One game I would to see him review the E.T Atari game, but for some reason, he won't touch it. I guess he's either saving it for a finale or reviewing the game would make him go so postal, he'd go into cardiac arrest. I don't know...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheSparklyMisfit In reply to SonicSatamX93 [2014-03-31 07:05:33 +0000 UTC]

That is a pretty good way to describe it.

Oh yeah? I'm not into too much bizarre stuff, but I like a good story and mystery. I'll see about checking that stuff out.

I know right?  It's just so fun to watch you just want to see more and more of it. I love watching those kind of reviews

Oh?Hmm, never heard of that one. Is it really that bad?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SonicSatamX93 In reply to TheSparklyMisfit [2014-04-01 01:15:44 +0000 UTC]

I know. I mean, it makes alot of sense when I think about it. Mysteries don't work if they have the audience looking at the core of it right off the bat. There's no suspense or drama then because it's all out in the open.

Ah, ok. That's fine, but yes... that show has some really plot twists you have to see to believe. The writers are that crafty.

Any games you like to see getting roasted?

Oh yes... it's been dubbed by many the worst game of all time. Some say it's the game that caused the video game crash of 1983. Not only that, many of its copies were buried in a desert because they made way too many copies. That is pretty bad you have to admit.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheSparklyMisfit In reply to SonicSatamX93 [2014-04-01 08:24:58 +0000 UTC]

^^

Right, it just adds to it, and trying to solve it yourself makes it even more enjoyable, even if the guess is wrong. If mysteries can sell their story well, then you know they're doing something right.

Sweet

Hmm...one of mine would have to be Sonic and the Secret Rings, they did so much bad in that one. the story wasn't that interesting (To me that is), the motion controls were just a mess, and the partner you're stuck with Sharah is annoying to me, and just as flat as the plot.

Snap, that is pretty bad, I don't think I've heard of anything worse than that happening to any other game thus far.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SonicSatamX93 In reply to TheSparklyMisfit [2014-04-01 23:30:10 +0000 UTC]

Yep... a mystery writer has to fool the audience for quite awhile in their stories for them to be good. Honestly, I'd love to study all of their tricks because I'm huge on mysteries. I'd love to write a story where the readers thought it was going one way, and then in the end, I pull a rabbit out of my writer's hat and they're like, "WHOA! Didn't see that coming..."

^^ So, do you by any chance have the channel Antenna TV?

Oh yea... that game was nothing but a rip of Disney's Aladdin. Well, thankfully, that game did get a super hilarious parody made from it. Some guy named Roger van der Weide. His Sonic parodies are so hilarious. Well, most of em are anyway...

Neither have I. Only other games that caused even close to this kind of backlash was games like Deadly Towers, SuperMan 64, MindJack and the Ride to Hell game I mentioned earlier.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheSparklyMisfit In reply to SonicSatamX93 [2014-04-02 01:01:00 +0000 UTC]

^^

I wish I could do that to, if so I could make some pretty interesting stuff that could send peoples minds boggling.

I don't know...I don't think so why?

No kidding, it was such a disappointment, calling it a rip off of Aladdin doesn't even cover it. At least Aladdin had an interesting story and good characters, Secret Rings couldn't even do that. The one thing I like is how good they got Sonic's personality, I mean, that was the Sonic I know and love, but that's pretty much it. Is that so? I think I'll need to look at some

Sheesh that is bad, glad I don't have access to those games

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SonicSatamX93 In reply to TheSparklyMisfit [2014-04-02 22:50:13 +0000 UTC]

Well, you probably could with a little practice, Sparkle. You're a pretty good writer already. All it takes is knowing how to dangle a carrot to your readers, giving them nibbles of info here and there. Then, toss in a red herring, making them look in that direction while at the same time slipping the really core of the mystery underneath their noses, keep them guessing as time goes on, and then near the end, BAM! You reveal the truth of it, and they're like... "How did I miss that?!"

Well, that's the channel that show is on. It was a show that aired back in the 60's, but it's really interesting all of these stories they have on there. That Hitchcock guy must've really had to search far and wide to find these twisted writers.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheSparklyMisfit In reply to SonicSatamX93 [2014-04-03 05:28:49 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, well I'll try to practice a little more with that, and then who knows, one day  could end up making a good mystery story myself ^^

I guess so, if they're as interesting as you said. I'll see if we do have that channel

SonicSatamX93 In reply to TheSparklyMisfit [2014-04-03 10:14:54 +0000 UTC]

^^

That's the spirit, Sparkle. You could write a great mystery story with a little practice. You won't know until you give it a try at least.

Cool. So, do you like the old shows from the 50's, 60's and 70's? I kinda do I admit. It's mostly corny stuff, but some of it is very quality television.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheSparklyMisfit In reply to SonicSatamX93 [2014-04-03 10:41:55 +0000 UTC]

^^

So true... Practice also will show how much skill you have when you work at something too.

Cool. Yea, for all the corniness the old shows had, they at least had good morals about life, even stories and characters that had some real thought put into it.

That is something today's show don't have at all: No morals, nor real thought put into them either.

Well, a few do now that I think about it, but they are a rarity among the norm.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheSparklyMisfit In reply to SonicSatamX93 [2014-04-04 01:52:32 +0000 UTC]

It sure does, the more you do, the better your chances are of making something truly great.

They sure did, and that made them really enjoyable to watch ^^

Exactly, and the same goes not only for their story, but their characters as well. They're so flat, one dimensional, and a lot of the time just really annoying, it's like hardly any, or zero thought went into them or the stories.

I know, it's just really sad to think about how little there is.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SonicSatamX93 In reply to TheSparklyMisfit [2014-04-04 10:49:18 +0000 UTC]

I seriously need to get back to practicing my stories. I'm starting to get rusty on em.

^^ So, did you have any personal favorite shows from the the 50-70's era?

They make it way too obvious money is their sole purpose for making a show nowadays. As long as they have their money, they don't give a rat's behind about making a quality show for the audiences.

Indeed. It's one reason why I catch myself wishing I could have the finances to make a show and show these greedy buffoons how to do it right. I don't mean to brag or anything, but you can be assured if I could ever make a cartoon, you'd a 100X more effort than from nearly all the cartoons of today. That is how passionate I am about making a great show for audiences.

Right, all they care about is a good buck no matter what the slush is they're selling.

A sad fact I wish wasn't so... It makes me want to boycott all modern entertainment.

Same here, well almost all of them, like I mentioned sometime before there's only a couple of the modern shows I truly enjoy

Yea, I remember you telling me you did a like a few of em. A shame that you have to look long and hard to find a good show nowadays. It used to be the other way around. A bad show was not nearly as prevalent.

^^ I'd love to show you what I could make if possible, Sparkle. I'd be very dedicated to say the least.

Oh yes, you certainly would make something better. You don't want to make money your primary reason for a show anymore than I do. Granted, I'm not against making money, but I'll gladly sacrifice half of it if it means I'm making an awesome series.

Right, I liked when TV was like that back then, I really wish it could've kept that way.

I know you would be, you always put your best into everything you do
