Okay, so I was in a chatroom with some peeps, and then two of them were discussing Silvaze backstory headcanons.One of which involved Silver and Blaze (around 12 or so) watching Blaze's mansion burn to the ground with her father inside.
And since I was in a major Art Block, I jumped at the idea when they suggested I draw it. Because, I really needed to get out of this art block, people.
Also, Silver decided to be stupid and grab her instead of use his telekinesis. And I guess Blaze isn't burning him because of reasons.
Ssshh, guys, it's way more dynamic this way than what it would be if he was just holding her down with his powers. Okay? Okay.
I have... A lot of issues with this one. I can pinpoint a bunch of areas or places that look awkward, but I'll just leave it for you guys to find them. Maybe if I don't mention it, you wont notice. (MAYBE...)
So the idea sprung up from a discussion of Silvaze, but this particular scene was more of a friendship thing. So if you don't like Silvaze, you can just see it as friendship.

This piece is so sad and pretty at the same time. I don't care if there is a single mistake; I just like the entity of the pic and the overall idea of the backstory, if ya ask me.

You know, I think you said there a couple mistakes in this piece. To be honest, there's not many that really stand out. Some of the mistakes actually go with the piece/back story. I think my favorite personal touch from this piece is the tears and shine on the eyes. Also, the poses are perfect for your backstory. I'd go on, but then I'd be rambling on about the colors, shades...I doubt you want a critique.
But seriously.
It's a pretty good piece. *looks at favorites* and pretty much a lot of people like this too. Keep up the good work!

Hmm, I like the way you inserted the emotion into this piece. It gives off the feel of stress from Blaze. Knowing Silver is having conflicted emotions at this point.

Blaze and Silver make it out of the fire
Blaze: That was close...
Silver: Yea...
Blaze: Wait *looks around* where's my father?
Silver: I dont see him...
Blaze's Father: *cough* Help! *cough cough* Someone... help
Blaze: FATHER! *runs toward the burning buliding*
Silver: *grabs Blaze* Blaze you cant go in there!
Blaze: I need to! My fathers in there! I need to save him!
Silver: You cant Blaze!
The buliding collapses while still one fire
Blaze: FATHER!!!! NO! *strugles to get free from Silver's grip*
Silver: Blaze... it's to late *tears form*
Blaze: NO ITS NOT! I CAN STILL SAVE HIM! LET ME GO! FATHER!!! FATHER!!!!!!! *starts crying*
Silver: *hugs Blaze* You'll die and I dont want that to happen Blaze...
