Okay, so in
Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games
(for DS)

you can walk around and get challenged by people and do crap

and sometimes you see boxes around the towns, which you can open.

And sometimes there are lives, and sometimes there's little facts about mario or sonic characters.

once I saw a box, all alone, I opened it... and THIS happened

except sonic didn't faint

but yeah
